I am impressed by Korean and Japanese people strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene - this is another example of Korean culture's conscientious diligence in what they do. Koreans appear to be very teamwork oriented and take care of their workers basic needs quite well - like a family. Enjoyed seeing that aspect being demonstrated in his business-sense.

My family (well the part that CAN speak mandarin, which are not many) switches between Thai and mandarin chinese too ,tho they do not live in singapore (they live in thailand, my whole family is ethnically Thai and chinese mixed, but its not usual that chinese ethnics here in thailand speak any chinese dialect, as most are here for many generations already, those who are mixed with both thai and chinese in our fam. Can only speak thai ,its only the very very few full chinese ethnics and some thais in our fam. who had to learn it, actually more thais in our fam. Speak both ,including lao and some english)
