    Great tutorial, so straightforward, taking a lot of the 'elitism' out of glazes and blends. Love the new format and intro as well. Would be nice to see this product and your techniques on wet blending with the airbrush and a regular brush. Working toward a cool gradient or highlighted area. Thanks again for all your teaching efforts!

      Glad you like it! We've got more coming as well!
      Blending with airbrush and brush are going to be big ones.

    Super cool to see how you use that medium. I just picked some up, looking forward to playing around with it.

    do you find that dry brushing gives a chalk like look after a wash goes over it?

    • @MonumentHobbies
      @MonumentHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      It definitely can if you go too dry with your brush. We don't clear the brush of wet paint entirely and then just use a lighter stroke when applying. This gives the same effect, without giving you all the dried paint residue of a completely dry brush.

    What miniature is that and who makes it? Love to pick that one up.

      It's one of the leaders from the HATE boardgame by CMON. Not sure if you can still get the game, but ebay might be a good place to start. Came with over 100 minis!

    Had a thought. If you wanted a slight sheen instead of the flat finish could you add something like satin varnish to it? Say for painting horses?

      Definitely! You can either mix the varnish into the paint directly before applying, or a layer on top of the color afterwards.

    How would the glaze and wash medium work when added to the pro acryl washes? Would it thin it out a bit?

      You can definitely add it to the washes to dilute the opacity more. We generally use water for that, but you can keep the wash consitency thicker by using the Glaze / Wash Medium

    so it can be used to make something akin to contrast paint?

    • @MonumentHobbies
      @MonumentHobbies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! You can mix in any color you like and then use the exact same color or tint of it to highlight and shade after the "wash" application.
