    4:06 also 1900 is still the 19th century! The 20th century starts in 1901, so saying in early 20th century would be inaccurate in more ways than one

    Hi..can you just clear my confusion about that line ‘they have the largest annual passengers numbers,at 1927 million for Tokyo and 1191 million for Paris ‘ please? Why did you use ‘have’ not had?? Isn’t it past tense???as it is talking about 1900 and 1927?? Please reply

      "Passengers per year" means that on average they have x million passengers *every year* .

    As the time period is in the past, is it okay to use the present tense while describing, like you did? I am a bit confused here. Looking forward to getting an answer regarding this. By the way, thanks a million for making all these videos. Sending love from Bangladesh.

      Hi, you need to use the past simple tense for the category "date opened" but use the present simple tense for the other two categories because the six systems are always that long and serves that number of passengers every year. Hope this helps.

    you have used past simple tense and present perfect tense in the same sentence. is it correct to use to describe the chat with past dates?

    I wonder if I can write at the end of the report something like (we can be inferred from these numbers that Tokyo has the biggest number of passengers per year because it has many more citizens and tourists than other cities.) I have seen some people do such of things.

    I have 1 question. Are The expressions " the visitor count" or "the visitor numbers" only used when following the word "total" and reffering to "the total number of visitiors"???. if i want to use them in difefrent situation like i want to express data in plural form with the same meaning as this sentence: " the numbers of visitors visiting A and B were...". So what should i write if using "count" and "numbers". You havent mentioned the situations when to use them clearly :(((((

      No, the tense you should use depends on the context.
