@@whatfreedom7 I really like the brick g10. It feels thiccer waaay grippier, and the dlc coated liners huge bonus. My pg 2017 dlc pm2 has the stock stainless. Really love this version great job GPK!
Rex 76 is a great steel and enjoy using it from the mule fixed blade. Ill be getting one but ill wait for the satin version that will be released next.
Got one. Love this g-10 better than the stock g-10. It’s much grippier. I wished they would have rounded the edges a little to be a upgrade form the stock but aside from that I love it.
CPM REX 76 is a super high speed steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy Process. It has high carbon, vanadium and cobalt for abrasion resistance comparable to T15 and superior red hardness. CPM REX 76 is heat treatable to 68/70 HRC. Its high hardness, fine grain size and uniform carbide distribution make it outstanding for special purpose cutting tools beyond the capabilities of the AISI Type M40 series high speed steels. The best applications are where high red hardness, high abrasion resistance, and good toughness can be used to advantage.
@@CNYKnifeNuthi, Could you tell me how I would go about finding his patent applications here on the internet? That’s actually a great idea to see a bit ahead of the curve of what is coming up. Thank you
With how much money we have spent on spyderco knives, you would think they would give us like a cleaning cloth and a cool spyderco carrying case or something...
@mrmouse-ol9pw Yes put the money in the knife... But why paying so much for knives that come with blade play and off centering half the time? There are other brands that give us great knife quality and goodies.
I gotta say, im not impressed with most super steels. Nitro v or well done d2 are my jam. I got that rex 121 sage 5 and absolutely hated it. The magnacut pm2 was bad too. I have had great magnacut but i wouldnt be able to tell it apart from a good nitro v. Id love to see some more simple steels brought back. Cruwear was ok but again, nothing special for me personally.
Same as bicycle or car marketing…. More gears, more speed, more powerrrrrrr!!! Silly till it never ends. Knives that break if you drop it… and I have the Rex 121 LW in my pocket🙄 I must admit that Spyderco makes a lovely bl@de called the PM2 that is light years ahead of my Opinel that started my collection, and even better than my Ontario Rat 1 D2 that followed my Opinel in my collection for me. It’s the grippier G10 handles, (and I know there’s g10 scales out there) but that’s about it, Rat 1 in D2 is great. Check out all the positive review videos of the Rat 1 and 2 from 6-8 years ago. Now the market want better than D2 or 14C27N all day🙄
Ugh like i needed another Pm2! Kept saying to myself, self, i dont need any more of these!
Yeah, just ordered one 😂😂😂
I won’t buy another PM2, I won’t buy another PM2, I won’t buy another PM2… oh, wait, a PM2 in Rex 76? Ok, I’ll buy it.
Same
Last one, I swear
Lmao couldn’t have said it better
Im thinking that g10 is gonna be nice grippy too 👍😎
Man they are killing my savings.😢
Copped. Can’t wait!
You guys come up with some of the best material combinations for your exclusives with Spyderco. Looking forward to this one!
Great “exclusive” with a fantastic steel in a legendary knife. Mine is on its way!
THAT is a very cool exclusive!! 🤩
Tracking says mine will be here Monday! Its my first Para 2 so I wanted it to be special...great people at GP Knives!
Sick dude you did good I think you're going to catch the "spyder bug". Happens to the most of us after our first solid Spydercooo
Thank you for the kind words! - We hope you love this exclusive as much as we do!
Think you scored a really good one. To me the g-10 and the blade is a major upgrade over the stock version.

@@jesser8369I love the grip too. Only knife I’ve had with comparable g-10 is the DLT hogue deka. That one is extra grippy too.
Rex76 Mili can’t wait
Whoa! What a knife!
That’s a beautiful blade! Thanks for sharing !
Love my Manix2 LW withe Rex45

Agreed!🧌
Do you think the satin is coming?

My wife took my s90v pm2. I’ve been waiting for something special to replace it. Sounds like I found the one
I’ll try to snag one I love the stock look

Still waiting on my black n yellow PM2 Salt preorder but wow loving that handle pattern n the new steel flavor 🤩
I like to search through Spyderco/Sal's filed patents, and there's definitely more handle patterns on the way...

Would love a manix 2 in rex 76!
That’s nice. Would like to see the Rex 76 in para 3 and the Delica models
I’ll take one thank you

and individual hrc tested 😁
Naw put the money in the knife not the goodies
at this point in the development of those models, you're really just paying for the steel.

I said I wouldn't get anymore pm2s 😂 will there be a satin version?
There sure will! - No ETA on it yet though 👍
Price?
Heat treatable to 70 but dod he say what spyderco was actually running them at? I must have missed it.
Knowing spyderco they are treating it on the higher end would be my guess
Hmmm I like this. But imma wait till the native version comes out
Is there plans to release a satin version?
There sure are! - No ETA yet though 👍
I like those scales!
Not the ULTRA with the button unlock... Not left handed😒😤🤦🏻
Make an uncoated version.
A satin finished version is in the works! 😉
If only it was titanium scales lol
If only this was a Para 3....
