It's a new record! Posting this video as we reach 20,000,000 global confirmed cases of coronavirus. Crazy, this is far from over. With the cold season coming up it's good to know we can count on another cleaning agent, hydrogen peroxide, to disinfect at home.
Hello, as I have found your video helpful... Here are some of my questions as a starting out commercial brewer. 1) for CIP cleaning the fermenter after the beer has been transferred out of it, what is the ratio of Hydrogen Peroxide to water? I typically use 100 Liters or 200 liters of 78 Celsius water to clean the 1000 Liters capacity fermenter. 2) Dissolving Hydrogen Peroxide to 78 Celsius water is preferable than doing so to the cole water for CIP cleaning?~
Which one is better for skin and humans vs household surfaces? I don't recall using isopropyl alcohol on surfaces in the lab. For the inside of the microwave oven, can we use either to disinfect? Currently diluted the readily available 20 volumes H2O2 from store on 1:1 volume with distilled water, is that ok? When we pour the acid to water, do we still shake the amber bottle or mix it afterwards?
Hi Ida... wonderful presentation and information! Question: How much H2O2 (3%) is needed to disinfect a liter of tap water, and how long will that solution stay safe. This is not for drinking or cleaning. but to simply rid the body of water of micro-organisms. Thanks, Kerry
Hi, thanks for the video. The only reason I would prefer a higher concentration of H2O2, is all the plastic bottles you’re using when buying repeatedly low concentrations 😭😭 I don’t want to produce so much plastic waste. Is it safe to get a 12% concentration and dilute it at home? At least that’s already 4 times less plastic bottles and even more if I can find a big container of it. Thank you!
I wish had just gotten to the point about its affects on covid and then go from there into detail. It is so beating around the bush. What you showed at 5:13 is what you should have stated with showing the exact amount of time and concentration needed to kill covid-19.
You are very welcomed! I had a product with 5% H2O2. How to dissolute to 3%? I read that a dissolution ratio of 100 ml H2O2 : 900 ml water, is an effective disinfectant. What do you think?

Very informative and well presented 👍
I use the 3% hydrogen peroxide a lot. You have convinced me to stick with that, and not try more exotic blends!
I arrived at the same conclusion! Only after spending 40+ hours researching hydrogen peroxide for this video. XD
I put the drugstore kind in my humidifiers!
Put it in the water and let it run. Love it.
I found this channel yesterday and really like the way you convey information. I subbed, stay safe.
You too. Welcome aboard!
I really love your presentation although this was done a few years ago. Thank you this is very informative.
Very good video!! Thank u so much... I have been cleaning with bleach but will now go with hydrogen peroxide!
Glad I could help!

Oh my god I explored this video 4 years too late. I survived COVID without your hydrogen peroxide tips.
Can you help us do dilutions.
Which is the better disinfectant -- hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol?
Better for what specifically? They both have their applications.

THANK YOU - - THANK YOU - - Thank You, for helping me understand the variables of time and solution strength
with a smile.
I am going to use it fight with ringworm in groin... Is it safe for skin 3% peroxide?
Thank u for the info very helpful!
Good explain and detail, double thumbs
Much appreciated!
If 30% h202 is spilled into certain things like clothes, books....how to clean these things.
Plz plz plz help me.
Hi can I use H2O2 with fogging machine?
Yes!! I use it in my humidifiers.
I would be careful with it in a fogging machine. 3% hydrogen peroxide do have stabilizers in it. I dont know how those impact humans after fogging

Congratulations. Nice video. Very professional!
Thank you very much! Glad you liked it :D
If something is patented (like AHP) they MUST list what is in it. You just can't recreate and SELL it.
Can I use hydrogen peroxide to clean my derma roller?
First comment !! Sent you a note about a collab :)
Thank you!
You're welcome!

People are watching the video for other reasons than yours
I am looking for options of cleaning solution that can be sprayed and left to dry without rinsing, I guess not the case for hydrogen peroxide?
How are you
Please you define
Plasma sterilization
Is hydrogen peroxide poisonous? Can it be used to disinfect or wash fruits?
Yes. Can soak in fruits. Contact time 15 minutes.
you can use 35 precent diluted in distilled water
Love the video. Thank you so much. 5:08 Can anyone tell me where this table information's source is?

The biggest threat to human is COVID? … all this while like my whole life, I believed the biggest threat to human is …. Human!

That is good vidieo
What if i have hydrogen peroxide of 6% and on what % i have to mix it with water to become it a spray and what should be it contact time
i have 32% of hydrogrn per oxide.how much (ml) H202 should i use it in one liter of water for surface cleaning?
ONE PART PEROXIDE 11 PARTS WATER, GOOGLE IT, DONT TAKE MY ADVICE.
How do you turn 34.5% peroxide into 3%?
Keep up the great work 👏👏.
Lot's of good wishes from India 💐
Thank you so much 😀 Good wishes from the USA!
I wish I could find 35%
How to make HP 35% to become 3%?
Dilute it with water
35% means there's 35ml of HP per 100ml of fluid. Therefore, you need to add 20ml of water to 100ml of fluid to dilute it into HP 3%.
Smarter....🤓
AHP seems to has advantage for the type of product to be cleaned, especially for tool cleaning that cannot be soaked for long time.
Thank you for this useful information.
You're very welcome. Glad it was helpful!

You so cute
I love you
Thank you
