Yeah I try my best not to be that kind of Blue Mage. As soon as someone else shows up I start holding back and just freeze everything so they can get easy hits in. It’s just common courtesy! =w=
I did it during low activity hours and, outside of RNG not giving me medals, it was quite painless. When there are so few people, BLUs are a welcome speed boost.
Then you got the Blue mages that are working against each other by being spread out and pulling the enemies to them in a cycle so no one is really getting hits in.
I just went straight ahead to another fate towards the end of finishing the event. The Blue Mages would come in and almost or do kill the enemies in the fate leaving me no time to even have a chance at gettif a hit in.
I only use missile and UV if I know everyone has credit. Makes Achievement fates not take 20 min too, but I usually leave them at 10% so everyone can get gold. It's been super annoying with baby blus not knowing common curtesy

Try data center hopping to Materia if you aren't already there. At times I have Sophia to myself, I've been hopping over there with my alts and just getting enough medals for all the minions and 2 to 3 weapons, it's great.

If i did use the one hitter it was for fates where no one was barely around. Blu mage has become a tedious leveling job. You just level and collect spells. They could keep the limited jobs.
And it really shouldn't be because everyone should have an opportunity to grind this event. Blue mages that sit there and say well they just level Blue mage or do blue mage main supremacy don't understand they are part of the problem.

I did this a few times and pissed off everyone in central shroud but nobody knew which blue mage it was so I got away with it cause I'm evil

Double pain when you try and use the event to farm atma
Nah it's been great for that for me! Farming atma just requires one hit of damage in the fate. The fate can even fail and an atma can drop

I had this event completed the last time it was available. I had double checked to make sure there wasn't anything new with it like last time
I have no dps leveled so I have to do it as AST and let me tell you. BLU has no love for healers trying to do this freaking event.
