HEY BROTHER, I FINALLY GOT MY VETERAN SHERMAN DELIVERED TO ME HERE IN HAWAII, 7-2-21. YAY!!!!! NOW I WILL DO EVERYTHING YOU TEACH US. BY THE WAY, IM 78 YEARS OLD. REMEMBER ONE THING: 30 TIMES!!!!!
I'm gonna re-watch your tutorial at least 30 times😂
Cheers! 💙
Hahaha
I suppose this is 5 years old, but it is refreshing to come across one that isn't "Learn to ride in 10 minutes!" I appreciate the methodical adding of small skills in small steps and the building of muscle memory doing it. Tracking my first EUC as it comes across the Pacific - excited to join the fun, but this looks like a solid way to get up and going!
Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I'm a 67yr old man who just recently learned to ride a OneWheel (1mo & 85mi and counting). I just recieved my new Inmotion V8F and am, with you and other TH-camrs' help, looking forward to more fun. And, you stay safe...
Awesome man. Anything to help. Happy riding
@@UStride have you given any thought to the benefit of using ski poles as an aid in learning. I am using your process but have no fences around me usable as aids. I made 2 ski poles from old aluminum broom handles that I put rubber cane tips on. I believe it is helping.
@@oldretireddude honestly that's not a bad idea except if you fall I don't want you or anyone else getting her by flying pointy poles..someone else mentioned using a shopping hard witch isn't a bad idea.
Thank you so much for this, I followed your video and now can ride my new EUC. I start from 0, it's my really first time. I did 5 sessions of 1 and half hour each, following your tips. 3 inside my house and next two times outside in a private road. Now I can ride and turn too. Probably the best training course on TH-cam 😁
Haha thanks man. Glad I could help. In glad for you
Far play to this guy. On the cold to make us a video helping to ride our unicycles.
Not every hero wears capes.
Kudos to you man. Good job.
Thank you for the video.
Haha yeah I was reading a comment from another sub who said when are you going to make us a video on how to, and I saw this spot and just did it(although it was a week or so later) glad you like it. Thanks
I apriciate it also, the guy is awesome for doing this for us(begginers)
I am 65 years old and will try your training method. Thanks! Great job!
Thanks from Australia man. I am 77 yrs old. Your method works. In 3 days I can almost keep my balance on my KS16s. ciao. freddo dirk
Awesome. I'm very glad it helped
Thanks a ton for this video. I followed it exactly through step 9 and then deviated slightly but not a lot. Following all of this created a great base. I got my machine Thursday evening, and it's Tuesday evening and I can mount without holding anything and ride many laps around an area with 3 tennis courts. I didn't have anybody local to learn from so your video was fantastic for getting me going. Thank you!!!
@mikewise5119 wow man. I'm so glad this helped congratulations on your wheel
This is hands down one of the best EUC training lessons I've watched. I made up some of the exercises myself with respect to foot control and building muscle memory. Here, I pickuped up new ideas to help me really get going. I finally bought a kingsong s22.
What helped me a lot was learning about the principal of physics behind the wheel. If you look up gyro and wheels, speed will help you balance the wheel, but the first thing you have to gain is the confidence and trust in yourself and the wheel. I seen in the beginning guys always cut their heel from jumping off the front and the wheel catching their heel. I started jumping off the back because the wheel has forward momentum. Next I padded up really well and that gave me the confidence of not getting hurt. My problem was the fear of falling, once I gained confidence in the wheel that fear went away. U-Stride has the best learning videos out their along with Duff. 👍
Great points and observations. I'll be sure to add them in part 2, since it's about riding the wheel, putting all of part 1 together
Guillotined my heel and the ball of my ankle with the pedal, many times!
And I'm 62. And it's gone great 👍 with Your help. Please more videos for the beginners
Sure thing. That's coming
I started learning to ride watching Duff, Duff will teach you how to fall. I starting really learning how to ride when I found U-Strides channel. He’s the only one that if you have questions he will help you. He is a very advanced rider and like in this video he takes the time to help new riders.
Wow thanks man for your kind words
U-Stride, many thanks to you for being there teaching me to ride my Tesla. I would like to move up to the MSX 100 volt but I’m saving my money for the 2019 wheel line up. Have a nice day. 😀
@@chodkowski01 nice man. I would love that wheel for sure. So much faster
U-Stride, lets be honest the Tesla is a fast wheel and I hear the beeping whenever I watch your videos on the Tesla. You and I like speed. But you also like cruising long distances. I know the 100 v wheels have the speed. I would like to see a 100 v, 2.5 w motor with a decent size battery capable of speeds of 45 mph. They are already pushing scooters to 50 mph. Let’s see what 2019 brings.
Thank you so much.I purchase a E.U.C. 1yr ago today(inmotionv10). I have ridden it over 3,700 miles The spirit led me to this video and I will always be thankful. I'm 62 years old going on 63 I'm not trying to go fast I'm just trying to Glide.. From Atlanta Georgia thank you so much...☮✌✌🕊
Best video for beginners. Im almost 50. This video was by far the best for learning. Thank you
Well I appreciate that man. The idea is to get you learning so as not to damage your device
Dude, your advice and training tips changed my riding skills overnight! I’ve just got back from 15-20 mile ride with zero dramas and a couple real high speed runs! I can confidently turn tightly both ways, stop quickly and get on and off the wheel. I even had 3 pints on the ride out and was still absolutely fine! Thankyou for making this video, it’s all up from here now
Hahahahaa you're funny man. I'm really glad I could help
This is the best tutorial so far that I've seen of dozens of videos. The fine details and exercise tips is much appreciated. I will be saving this one.
I have ridden hoverboards over the years. When I first got my first hoverboard in 2015, I thought the thing was broken as it didn't work like how I saw in the videos -- but it was just me. LOL. So the hoverboard took maybe a day or two to learn to be able to ride. Now its the most natural thing and I use my hoverboards all around the garage and driveway just for errands, chores and for fun. Seriously, I used my hoverboard to work on my fence & gate, re-organize my garage and move boxes in and out during my house move!
Question: How much does hoverboard riding experience translate to the electric unicycle riding though? Anyone with experience on both vehicles care to comment? I'm guessing that my muscle memory for the sensitivities of forward-back (pitch) control for acceleration/stopping will translate over. But, of course, the unicycle can lean (roll) which the hoverboards cannot do because of their fixed lateral two wheels. So we can see already that the unicycle has another primary axis of control that needs to be learned.
Also, is it possible to balance while stationary with an electric unicycle while waiting for a red light? Standing still is super easy on a hoverboard. Then the hoverboard can pirouette in-place and turn all around 360º with little effort which makes chores around the garage nearly effortless even in tight cramped spaces.
today is my first day on an euc, and this tutorial is by far my favorite!! i really appreciate the emphasis on building leg muscles bc i have no leg muscles currently lol.
This video has been so helpful. Your advice about doing it 30 times, taking a break and doing it 30 more times has really helped me a lot. Repetition truly is the key. I kept trying to just jump on and ride, thinking my balance would get me through it. Of course, it didn't and I was getting frustrated. But after I was took the advice in your video and started practicing, I was making a lot more progress a lot more quickly than before. You're awesome.
Glad it helped. It's hard to go slow when every video on Facebook and TH-cam is moving fast. It almost feels like you're being left behind. But know this. The majority of riders took time to learn. You're only seeing the fruits of their unrecorded labor. Slow is fast. Congrats
Gonna be honest, didn't know these were a thing. Glad I saw this in my reccomended, they seem pretty cool.
Haha yeah it's still a niche market. But it's fun once you get to learn it and be a part of the EUC(ElectricUnicycles) community. Glad you clicked
Am I the only one who will probably never own one of these but am fascinated with these videos/watching other people ride them? lol
I didn't see him wobble one time he's a master, i think.
I got a swagroller when i was 72 now i have upgradded to a Good V8F and its harder to ride, i even carry groceries on it. Follow the fun.
Thanks, this is explained so well. In 5 hours I can ride unassisted for around 300m, however I need to master each one of these steps and can see the value in each step, riding the EUC is the easy part. Thanks once again just a great tutorial on learning an EUC.
For teaching others, this is the best teaching vid I've yet seen! A GF is considering trying it thanks to this simple and safe approach! Thanks U-Stride!
You're welcome man. I hope it helps
Just got my Gotway MSX and I'm using your tutorial. Holy crap! Didn't think it was going to be hard because I already know how to ride a onewheel. Boy was I wrong!! This thing is tough!! I got retrain my leg muscles. Your tutorial is great!! Thank U!!
Lol you're funny man. Yeah it's a different beast. This is the reason why we are not so popular, and I like it. But yeah man keep at it, it's well worth it in the end. I'm glad I'm able to help
Thanks. Thank you U-Stride because not making it look so easy. Because in this way I prepare myself to persevere. In other videos they say that it is very easy to learn to ride the wheel, and it is not true (for some) then if I do not do it as quickly as they do, I give up. In other videos that seem so easy for them I feel sad because I do not may l. But you make it look like something that needs a lot of practice and perseverance. So I do not abandon my wheel and continue in my slow learning task. Not all of us have the same skills
Indeed. Good way of looking at it
Hey U-stride, I just want to thank you for this very comprehensive building block tutorial, I’ve watched it a few times (okay, maybe not thirty times, just yet!), and tried to absorb your excellent advice. I’ve not yet seen a better how-to-learn-EUC tutorial, so again, a massive thank you from the wild highlands of Scotland, UK. My MSP arrives this morning via FedEx, but I’ve still got time to rewatch and learn in advance from the Man. A lot of the advice you give is similar to learning to ski in many respects.
Peace, and thanks again!
Hi! I just wanted to thank you for your tutorial. I've been watching it few times and memorizing each step until finally on firday my Z10 has arrived and I spent Satruday and Sunday practicing. Your lessons were really helpful and learning to ride by the bar or fence was the best! Thanks to the people like you, there is more and more of EUC riders! If you ever feel like visiting Europe, please be invited to Poland!
Awesome. Congratulations and I'm glad I and others like me could help. And yes it's becoming more and more popular
I just bought a V8/Glide 3. I watched this video before going out. I was doing 50 yard runs within 10 minutes. Your techniques worked great training that muscle memory. Thanks! The mounting/dismounting exercises were particularly awesome and quick to master. Thx again!
Nice that's awesome man. Happy for you
Just got my first euc and am super excited to learn the basics. Gonna be hanging out by a fence all weekend watching this video on my phone. Thanks for this
It was this channel that talked me into buying an EUC. It was one of these videos that claimed the KingSong 16s was a good beginner EUC. I happen to agree. But to be fair, the KS-16s is all I know. I have the app set the EUC to beginner mode. My tire pressure is down a little bit. With the instructions in this video, I am doing OK. At the ripe age of 58, I have be a little extra careful, so yes I have All the safety gear; even in the school yard playground. I am still working on my foot control and have tasted a few feet of free victory here and there. I will get complete victory and I can't wait for the fun to begin.
Nice man. I'm glad your in the EUC world now. There's much to learn. Step by step
I’m a fairly confident rider now but prior to learning I only found one or two videos where the person knew how to teach the essential skills. Fortunately, I knew I needed those basics and kept looking until I found them. This video is spot on and essential viewing to any newcomer and is a complete introductory skills tutorial. Which reminds me, I need to learn to ride backwards! Excellent job!
Thanks man. I'm glad you didn't quit. I also have to learn backwards as well. It's pretty cold here in NE so I have very little motivation to go outside lol. later for sure. What wheel do you own?
U-Stride After splashing for a V10, there is no way I was gonna quit! Fortunately I could get a good deal here in Shenzhen, and the V10 hit the price/performance sweet-spot. I’m 100kg and have big feet so the 1800W, large pedals and price gave it the edge over all other wheels 5400rmb is probably about 850usd. It’s a balmy 27C here in China so I’ll be going out very soon :) This video was particularly interesting for me as I have been thinking of putting together a video on stretches to do prior to riding as well as feeling awareness of the pressure on the parts of the feet and whether there is more pressure on one foot and/or one calf than the other. I think this could also be helpful for beginners.
@@rogerunderhill4267 $850us amazing. Yeah the V10 is a great wheel, I just didn't think it was a great wheel for the price here in the USA @1299, but yeah minus the price, it's a great looking wheel and has good specs on paper. Glad you like it. Always liked inmotion wheels (jut no their price all the time :))
The best learning video I have find on the TH-cam. Thank You very much my friend. Now I can ride a little.

Awesome glad to help
I’ve watched so many how to ride euc and I think I would use yours as my guide. I think these steps is so good and so complete. Thanks so much.
This video was really useful! I got my wheel Sunday, did some exercises for two hours Monday, and today (Tuesday) after another two hours, something clicked and I was riding up and down a bike path. I still have to get used to mounting/dismounting properly and smoothly, and still have to learn more control before I'll feel comfortable with other traffic.
Rocking left to right really helped to get a feel for the wheel's weight. One thing I would add, that really worked for me (maybe just because I am learning on the MSX, a bigger wheel than most learners) was going in a squiggly line. I was actually able to do this before going straight, as it helped me feel how to get the wheel back in balance if it was tipping too far one way or the other. My wide and erratic turns became smaller and smaller until I could control the wheel and keep it in a straight line.
Yeah man I'm glad it helped. Yeah your approach is a good one. My video is simply a foundation feel free to add your own twists. I'm very glad you are getting the feel for riding. Keep it up
I got a inmotion v5f yesterday and thanks to your videos and some others (but yours was a big help video as Conditioning is key!) i was able to ride my v5f in less than 5 minutes! and done 30 minutes of riding in a car park at 12 at night lol it was also wet as it was snowing yesterday. i couldn't believe i was riding the thing as it was scaring the hell out of me before and now i just want to get back out and ride!
The big factor that let me get on a ride so easy was conditioning my legs in my room by getting on and off it and practising balance in 2 meters of space for a few minutes at a time.
Great videos and keep them up! I should be making one of me riding it soon on my channel.
That's awesome man. Conditioning is essential to riding even as an expert. But Yeah that's awesome, so happy you learned so quickly. You must have had some prior conditioning. Yeah it is surprising once you start riding the wheel for more than several feet. It's almost Surreal. But I'm very happy for you. Keep it up and happy riding. Stay safe (wear the wrist guards and helmet off-course as you're still in the beginning stages, plenty of room for error and painful lessons). Good work
Thanks for your advice. I found that doing the same action 30 and having a rest really does help a lot,
Indeed
How many times should I do it again?
hahahahahah. 30 times thank you lol
Excellent tutorial. Thanks so much for putting the time in to this clip.
Thanks
Thanks a ton freddo dirk. This is greatly appreciated.
Reall appreciate what you did here with this tutorial. Easily the best one on YT now. Thanks!
Ill have to try these instructions on the weekend. Ty
awesome thanks mate
i start riding euc from ur video, the most important part is getting my feet ready by doing that first few exercise building up ur the legs muscle (the dominant leg); it really help. for beginner, not looking down surely help too, try look somewhere straight ahead not the bottom of the wheel. thanks bro
No problem man. Glad to help. Happy riding
@@UStride i just got a Kingsong 16s the other day with no prior riding i watched your video and picked it up in two days. the key is doing it in socks, because with sneakers you can't feel the points you need to apply the pressure on. if you never tried riding in socks it feels like you are a part of the wheel.
@@hoodatheist5549 that's awesome man. Congratulations
I watched this video along with some others and it was very helpful. Your other videos also helped inspire me to take up the sport. I rode my first stretch, about 100metres, without falling on my Ninebot One S2 today. Felt great. Foot control exercise is great.
Nice Nice. Im happy for you. Yes foot and Leg control is very very important. Keep it up
U-Stride Now I just gotta figure out how to get time with all this work travel. 👍🏼
Just bought my 1st EUC two days ago. It’s pretty much a discontinued brand with a 16” wheel that I bought used. This was the first tutorial I clicked on. Hoping I can apply everything.
That's awesome. Yeah I made this video for the absolutely beginner so you I hope it helps you.. congrats on your purchase. Happy riding just be patient and persistent
Except for the road noise, this is the best tutorial I’ve seen this far. Hope you’re riding still.
Hello there. I've been watching your unicycle videos. I think this one will be very helpful. Ordered my first ever unicycle this morning. I picked the gotway Tesla 16" I can ride a regular unicycle so maybe that will help with my learning curve. Can't wait to get it. Hey thanks for the videos. Steve from mass.
From mass, nice nice. Enjoy man, happy riding 😎
Went for my first ride on the tesla today. I was really paranoid about binning the wheel on hard ground ($$$) so I decided to find the flattest grass I could and ended up at a soccer field. Bonus was that some of the goals were small and low so I was able to go from one side of the goal to the other while hanging onto the crossbar. I just kept going around the goal doing that while relying less and less on grabbing the crossbar. Once I could make it from one side to the other without grabbing the crossbar I moved to the field and worked on stepping onto the wheel with nothing to hold onto. After that just worked on trying to make it a few feet, then further then further. Once my foot and ankle muscles started to adapt and my staibility improved, I tried on the pavement. I think because the grass was not prefectly smooth and my stabilizing muscles really got a workout, once I got onto the pavement it felt alot easier and I was able to start cruising fairly quickly. I ended up riding about 3 miles non stop and got up to around 20mph. It was fantastic!! I still really need to work on handling the wheel at slow speeds and making sharp turns but I'll work on that next time I'm on the wheel. Thought about some of the steps throughout this video and they helped so thanks for making it! Can't wait to get back on the tesla!
WOW WOW WOW. What an amazing experience for a first time rider. That was a very unique method of learning how to ride your tesla. I'm extremely happy you were able overcome the learning curve. I wouldnt have thought of grass to be honest. Awesome idea. Anyway congratulations on your new abilities. In time you will become so good, that you will truly be able to experience the full potential of this amazing wheel. Happy riding
I like your style. I am having a awful time getting steady. I guess my 73 y/o reflexes are not up to speed. But I just do these movements and I get better, next I need the nerve to just go ;-) weeee!
You are an inspiration. I’m 54. Just got my V10F. Will be an interesting weekend.
@@blackrooster1527 I saw a video a while back of a man in his mid 70s who was a couch potato before getting his wheel. He had a hard time going to the mailbox and back. His wheel is perfect for him because he just has to stand. Now he goes everywhere. He said it breathed new life into him having his mobility back. Now he's on the bike trails, on the hiking trails, in the parks, zooming here, zooming there and having a blast like a 20 year old again. His wheel goes like 75 miles on a charge. Amazing.
Hope you ride it regularly nowadays. You are an inspiration.
@@blackrooster1527 I am 57 years old and I have been practicing the 12 steps of this video for 3 weeks. It has not been easy, but even if I wanted to, I can't stop trying. I will have patience. Thanks U-STride

Excellent! Thanks for breaking it down. Helps overcome the fear of buying an uncontrollable and useless toy.
LOL True. Persistence and determination.

It's not for old fuddy duddies😄
thanks for taking the time to film this. 30 seems to be the magic number ;-)

Excellent stuff! I've never ridden an EUC, but I ordered one and I'll have it in a few weeks, before it arrives I'll get a neoprene bodyguard to protect it from the many drops I'm bound to subject it to. I'll follow these steps to help me get going on my new Gotway RS once it arrives.
I just bought my Kingsong 16S. And I'm still learning how to balance on it. I hope this video helps me A lot 😎
Yeah I hope so too. Just patience and alot of ambition. You'll be fine
MSXPOSTBOY100, what are some ways to learn to stop on the 16s without the EUC moving while one foot is on it. ? I just did day 1 on it and twisted my knee. Hope you enjoy your 16S. Love to hear your experiences and tips with it.
Got my wheels.. GEEZ did I underestimate the issues. Stopping starting mounting are the issues.. and riding this is a very welcome & engaging workout to my surprise... enhances my engagement. That said.. lots of practice required and this is tremendous help. Good video.
NEWBIES: DONT MOUNT OR DISMOUNT BENT IN TWO.. STAY UPRIGHT from the hips.. this was huge for me. All the best you ground breaking EUC -people..
DEFACTO9 haha nice comment and contribution. Welcome to the EUC world. What do you ride ?
@@UStride Dude.. I ride the hardest wheels... MSX 100V and Nikola Plus 100v ( I am where Iam)..
@@DEFACTO9 nice dude. What range do you get on the 100V Nikola riding hard?
U-Stride Give me a chance, still learning to crawl. Dude ... hard referencing this vid. Many thanks
I have been in the house exclusively since the beginning of the pandemic. I live in a backwards area where a lot of people aren’t vaccinated.
So, I have an electric uni for more than a year but haven’t been outside except 1 time to learn to ride it. I watched your video again as it was the first ‘How To’ video I watched. I’m totally vaccinated and will be going out to conquer the EUC. And watching this video many more times. It will be more difficult because a heavy steel garage gate hit me in the head and affected my balance and caused seizures 😬. I’m somewhat wobbly from time to time. I am having a total shoulder replacement surgery because I tore my rotator cuff in a fall. Thanks 🙏 for your video, again. 👍☮️🌞🛞❤️
Update, awesome instruction. I've been practicing the raised heel method of turning you mentioned and I'm making turns and will improve with time. I'm old so my learning curve is longer but lift the heal is really good for me.
Many helpful vids on euc’s....this one is my bible. Age 78, and never saw an euc ‘til I opened the box. All the gear, all the time...day 3, still at step 4.
Slow and easy....no bruises yet....
Lol awesome man
thanks very much for the training tips, i successfully used them to learn riding my EUC (Ninebot One a1) in 5 hours. 😀
See you guys riding around, looks cool with all the lights you guys have on
That's the panda character with the lights in Boston
Absolutely the best training video yet. Thanks man!

I wobble till i get some speed but i amazed how easy you ride. Im old and will try these exercises to see if i improve. My v8f is a upgrade i just got but the swagroller i rode for a year also was alittle sketchy when first getting on. Maybe that's why old people don't usually ride these. Good video.
I receive my wheel today, i’ll keep your precious advices !
Is the machine turned on during practice so it self balances ? Thx
Picking up my V8 tomorrow, my first uni, so I’m prepping with your training video.
I had to smile when you had mentioned. 30x about 3x early in the video when you said, “do this.....30 Times” :)
It was like you were thinking, should I sway from that number? Nahhhh
Wish me luck. Hoping to commute through Toronto 30km eventually.
Cheers. Excellent videos!!!
Hahaha that's funny. That's exactly what was going on in my mind lol. I'm happy for your purchase. The V8 is a very good choice for a starter if you don't mind spending a little more money. Congrats
U-Stride Thank you! Research is the key! Learn the various levels and prices and specs, determine your goals, but get a wheel that is still one you can grow into.... instead of upgrading in 3 months...
Yesterday bought $92 of protective equipment. Wilson Knee Pads & McDavid Elbow Pads & Wrist Guards. Already have bike helmet.
I may have helped others get into this yesterday too as I began connecting the finance company I work for with the. EUC Store I purchased from.

I thank you for your tutorial I watch it over and over, I bought a king song ks 14m and I really want to learn how to use it.
Congratulations I'm glad you joined in this world of EUC. The Ks14 is a good starter wheel for sure. Be patient but also be ambitious
Slow motion would of been icing to this awesome video
Great tuition. I'm waiting for delivery of my first wheel (V8). These lessons will be very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to upload them. Cheers 👍
Congrats on your new wheel man. V8 has really great reviews.
Thanks. It looks like a very good beginners wheel, and not too expensive with great reviews. Cheers 👍
@@gordonmculloch4904 well the tesla isn't a true beginners wheel to be honest, but I'm aware even beginners purchase expensive wheels
U-Stride sorry for the misunderstanding. I was referring to the V8 being a good beginners wheel. Agreed the Tesla would be too much. Cheers.
@@gordonmculloch4904 cool beans. No worries.

Jump in man, jump in, you will get there
Amazing tutorial. I watched it today as I was trying my V11 for the first time. Thank you! My only question is: what would you recommend to be the proper placement of your shoes on your pedals? Would you place your toes sticking out the front of the pedals? Would you have your ankles sticking out of the back of the pedals? Or would you have your shoes completely centered on your pedals with equal distance between toes and ankles? Thanks again matey! 🥇
Have a V11 myself. Toes should be more forward than centered.
very nice tutorial... I find that it makes sense for me so Im going to put it in practice! Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
I love this video! Watched it to many times already, and I still have to laugh at myself for still trying to ride this device after having received my inmotion V8 for nearly a year now. Well, I admit I haven't been at it constantly, but that doesn't take away from the steep learning curve of these devices. I'll keep at it despite everything. Maybe one day it'll be a natural thing to rde this inmotion machine.
I just received my Ninebot One S; the first attempt to do leg control feels so alien and I'm surprised at how it taxes your calf and leg muscles. I've watched Duff and Chooch learning videos. This video is a great addition and perspective from an awesome rider; your approach is really helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome. Congrats on your new wheel. Yeah definitely learn from as many videos as possible. Most importantly don't rush it and you'll be fine
Great video! I wonder if all of your over the shoulder visual checks were because you were in a bad area?
Best tutorial ever made I think
Liked and subbed. Thanks brother. It seems like the opposite of skiing, where I lift my inside foot to turn. With the wheel I'd be lifting my outside foot.
It's like skateboarding but once you get used to it it's like skiing for snowboarding
@@UStride Thanks. I'm doing your exercises on an old MCM 3. I think it'll be a few months before I'm ready for a real wheel, maybe a Tesla or 16x. I'm a big guy at 6'3" 210lbs so I think 16" is the smallest I'd go.
@@ajaxsf awesome man. Surprisingly the 16inch wheels can handle big guys like you so don't fret. An incentive to cut down probably? Anyway you will love it
i'm on my 5th hour trying to learn, i've been doing 1 hour at a time and incorporate all the 12 steps within that hour. it helped a lot, I was able to go down the street about 5 houses. I got over confident and went on the street and veered right on to a curb, took a spill lol
If you're new, wear protective gear.
Excellent video.......very informative!
Thanks for this man! I got my Ninebot e+ today and whew I feel like I'm in deep deep water...
Lol you'll be fine
Man, I'm so close into hitting the buy button on that gotway m super x!! I wonder if it's hard to learn? I got a onewheel 3 months ago and it took me about a month to learn. I wonder if its similar learning curve or much harder? My wife doesn't understand my need for speed lol.
Thanks! I used this as my main guide to learn to be ride my Kingsong at the age of 54. My only advice top new riders: ankle guards.
Nice glad it helps. Don't give up ✌🏾😎
Thanks! I'm able to go maybe 1/2 a mile or so now. Turning... Or NOT turning is my battle now. I'm just trying to ride a few times a day to get used to it and build stamina.
Hi! Thank you so much for this. Just one question: how many times should I do each exercise?
Hahaha funny man. Lol
Ok but how do you speed up, slow down & stop? 🛑 I can’t figure that out from watching this. I don’t have an electric uni yet but getting one soon.
👍☮️🌞
Weight distribution. Lean forward to accelerate, lean back to break.
Got a v8f from ewheels , day 2 training ,finally getting to the point where I can stay on for sustained riding. Still having a bit of trouble with right turns, left turns much easier , I think I'm left foot dominant .
What if your EUC is 90 lbs? Are you supposed to somehow balance that with one leg for all these one-legged exercises?
Great vid thanx from all of us struggling to learn! Remember do it 30 times ! lol
Awesome video...its in too much details and for beginners all the details are required....
can you please tell what should be the air pressure. I have airwheel X3
Dont know about the X3. If you own and X3, it should be written on the tire
Great video. Mine just arrived today and WHEW, is it something else. Much harder than OneWheel!!!
Lol don't be discouraged...take you time it's worth it. What wheel did you get?
@@UStride I got a Nikola Plus and an Inmotion V11. I'm working with the Nikola now and will try the V11 later. I'll pick the one for me and sell the other to my friend :D
@@bw2569 goodness that's awesome man
Very good video. What would u recommend for a beginner, new GotWay Mten3 (it’s small , portable and fast enough) , the mcm5 V2 , Tesla v2 , inmotion v8f .. looking to start small then once I get the hang of it can transfer to a bigger wheel.. I really like the mten3 so far.. any thoughts ... plan to use it for a few km rides in city environment.. thanks ..
Yes everything you said I would recommend
Sorry I meant which one would u recommend mten3 84v or mcm5 vs or Tesla v2 or V8F .. for causal city rides and beginners. Thanks for the fast reply 😊
@@md8492 it's up to you man. All these wheels ate good options
I'm picking up a Gotway Tesla V2 in a few months so I'll save this video to my favourites so I can quickly learn the basics of riding it :)
Congrats man. Yeah definitely do that and there are many more videos on TH-cam as well. Welcome to the party man
By the way do you have a wheel you recommend after the Ninebot e+? I'm a big guy and I was looking for something I could sit for long rides and still be agile. Thanks again for your great video.
If you consider yourself a bit guy then it will be the Monster, msx 100V or MSP
