    Snow floor, snow problem. Dude...you are EPIC. I love how you interject a little subtle humor even in a serious video. This was EXCELLENT my friend!

    Great info! I especially like what you say about different types of wood. It really does make all the difference! A quick burning dirty wood can cause problems quickly especially if it clogged up the small chimney pipe. Definitely use the quick burners like pine to start the fire but cook the hard woods once it’s going! 👍

    Great info here! I would think you wouldn't get much sleep at night having to feed it wood all night, your right.

    Great job breaking down some of the misconceptions. All are spot on! I made the mistake of thinking it would be 90 degrees in there and my 20° bag would be fine on a 10° night. Nope! Ended up feeding the fire every 1-2 hours to keep warm. Learned all these the hard way just like you I bet!

      Oh yeah, I learned all these the hard way. What's the warmest you've had the tent? I think I've got it up to 60F on a sub-zero night...it was short lived but that's the warmest I've had it.

      @@SignalOutdoors we have the same stove so I'm thinking about the same. Never "hot." I bought a thermometer for this season so I'll know now!

    Great tips... Winter camping is still out for me.. But with all the wildfires of late the air would be a damn site cleaner in the winter...

    Great info and theme! Has moisture management with sleeping systems been a challenge? Does the stove effectively dry out humidity in your inner tent? Thank you.

    • @SignalOutdoors
      @SignalOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the first time I've had an issue with moisture in a hot tent. Normally it's quite dry in there. I was perfectly dry in my inner tent though. This was a tent I built myself from a tarp which isn't a breathable material. Before I use this tent again I'll create a vent at the top and that should create air movement, hopefully solving this problem. Thanks for watching! 🤙

    Awesome video. I am on the fence about hot tenting. I watch all these videos and it looks awesome. I just don't know.

      To bad there wasn't a way to rent a setup. It is a lot of investment if you're on the fence. Glad you enjoyed the video.
