It's a miracle! Amazing! I could never do that! And I had no idea that it was possible!!! Even now I don't understand how it works. But I did it!!! I am from Ukraine and never before I could find such clear tutorial in Ukrainian or Russian. Now I am completely happy (would be completely happy if there was no war in my country)! Thank you ))
I removed them to clean them, as had musty smell in machine, used all the cleaning washes going, but nothing worked, was so easy to remove and replace, such clear instructions, Thank you . I now have a squeak on slow spin since cleaning them, probably just a coincidence, anyone else had this happen? Thanks
Added to my "Fixing Things (instead of breaking them)" playlist... All I needed from this video, was the reassurance to know it was the sixth hole and not the third, fourth, fifth, seventh, eighth, or ninth hole. Bought the replacement Hotpoint paddle from a kitchen appliance shop, which funnily enough was their last one and fitted it in less than three minutes to finally do the pile of washing I'd have done yesterday. Thank you for making this video clear. 😎
Excellent job. Thank you. Shortly after the 10 y. old paddles have been replaced with new by "technician", two of them just fell off. Used this video tutorial to fix them and now it's all fine. Thank you again.
Finally found the exact video needed for my model of machine, was only finding way more complicated ones or ones for other models. Thank you for putting this video up, I was starting to lose hope I’d find one.
Thanks for the tip . I've just had a banging noise from the machine and I used this tip to make sure there was nothing left in the bottom under the drum
Thank you very much for the life saver trick. Exerting the right angle to the tabble became the key move for us. By the help of this video we got over the detached baffle issue. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for this, I can't mine back on. I have a new part and it just won't click back in, however hard I try to push it. I'm not sure one of the sides is lying flush with the drum. The metal tab is in the right position - are you able to offer any advice, please? The last one came off because the clip bits sheared off, so it more or less just fell off. Your video is very clear, thank you, but mine just isn't going back on, even when I am pushing so that the whole machine is moving back! Thank you for anyone's ideas, thoughts or feedback
I know it sounds silly but first of all is it the correct paddle for the machine, and if it is then i assume you are pushing it on the correct way round.
Good show Pls my hotpoint washdryer had a broken paddle and the spring holding the paddle is missing. Pls how much will it cost me to get it replaced. I also want to change the programme panel write up cover as all has been bleached away. Thanks
I need to replace the paddles in my hotpoint but the metal tab has broken of from under 1 of the paddles can I still put a paddle on without the tab please
Hi so I have a problem - the paddle keeps coming out on one section of my washing machine after being installed because it can’t lie flat - the back section is lifted and it thus slides out. I think this is due to the shape of the drum becoming deformed but how would I even fix this problem
I found plastic shredded parts in my washing machine and I have no idea where it comes from, I tried cleaning the filter and in the small hole on to the left it's full of shredded plastic as well. Should I buy a new one or is it a easy fix? I have the feeling the pump or so might be clogged .
Nobody spotted that at about 2 minutes 20 seconds you refer to the drum securing tab - the one that needs bending - as being a plastic tab. It is of course a metal tab.

I need to replace the paddles in my hotpoint but the metal tab has broken of from under 1 of the paddles can I still put a paddle on without the tab please
Unfortunately it may not fit properly if the metal tab has broken
Where do l get the plastic tabs@@lords-electrical
can you still wash if missing a pedal
Great help but where is link to buy those pedals
It is here: amzn.to/2yRDhyK

Sounds like it could be a manufacturing issue. I would contact the manufacturer to see if they can sort that for you.
Very helpful thank you !!!
Thanks for the video

Hmm not too sure, it could be part of the pump that has broken and gone into the machine? Is it still pumping the water out ok and washing properly?
@@lords-electrical no drainage of the water, and it looks like Christmas when the error pops up 😅
I did this via the sump opening what a muppet 😂
Thankyou for the help x
can you continue to wash if one of the pedal comes off
You can, but its not recommended as the metal part of the drum will be exposed and could catch on the clothes.
What about if the little metal is broken is it oke do replace it anyway
If the metal tab is broken in the drum, then the paddle may not stay in place.
@@lords-electrical omg 😒 i Hope so that will works
Thanks! Very useful video.
Дякую за відео!
Great help thanks
Paddles aren't broken they're rattling around on indesit xwde 750841 X. Is it case come loose from a groove?
New direct injection have the metal lock at the back.
Cheers mate.
Ur voice is sooo relaxing that it's forming ants in my body!
Thank u very much the help!!!❤️
Thank you!
Great👍👍
THANKS!

Thank you
Hi, I have a hotpoint machine and the paddle has 10 holes, are you able to tell me where the tab is?
Hi my tab has broken off on the drum
If it's broken off in the drum side there's not a lot you can do. If it's just the plastic drum lifters then you may need a new one
@@lords-electrical can it be secured with screws instead? could you make a video how if possible, please
ZerGut👍
vielen Dank

Has to be stiff to be good !! :)
