Hey Doc, I've been taking prednisone at 20mg for a whole year to help with my myasthenia gravis, along with mestinon. It's really changed my body. Despite not drinking beer, I've developed a beer belly. I've been trying to work out on my Peloton, but I can't seem to lose weight. Whenever I push too hard, I experience worse side effects, likely due to spikes in my cortisol levels. I've experimented with low carb, keto, and caloric deficit diets, but I can't seem to lose weight in my face and stomach. On top of all that, I've been having random mood swings and anxiety. I'm considering getting off prednisone because it's really impacting my overall well-being, almost like there's a cloud hanging over me.
