  • WOW! Where did this come from?? This was heavy as hell for PT! I am blown away dude, I was not expecting that at all. I spoke all that heartfelt stuff in the intro and then BAM they punched me in the mouth. I love it! Do it again Steven!

If you’d like to donate to the channel or just show your appreciation, all the details are below. All donations and tips that come from you, go into my daughters college fund and a fund for channel equipment. I created this channel for her so she has videos of her father talking and doing something he enjoys(listening to music and talking about it) since I don’t have any of those of my father. I decided that all funds that might come from this will go to her as well :) thank you again for your generosity guys, I appreciate you all more then you will ever know.
Your name will be added to the Thank you supporters’ video that plays at the end of every video and you get to pick a video for me to react to. Thank you so much!! If you donate and pick a song, I will get to it in under 24 hours!

God this band is so good. I always come away with something new and insightful after every song I listen to by them 😮

You want heavy? Strip the Soul/.3 from Live at Tilburg. Strip the Soul is awesome and so, so dark.... but when they cut into .3, it is just goosebumps and choke up time. So powerful, so beautiful: "Black the Sky, Weapons fly. Lay them waste for your race...."

Always here for PT! Keep digging. ‘Open Car’ and ‘Mother and Child divided’ both from the Album ‘Deadwing’ hit heavy.

I loved open car! But I haven’t done mother and child divided but I’ll keep my eye out for it. Thanks for watching brotha 🙏🤘

Here are some Steven Wilson solo live songs you should check out: these two are live at the Royal Albert Hall: 'Home Invasion' 'Dentonation'. Also 'Luminol' live in Mexico City

Heaviest song in my opinion is Futile. SW was listening to a lot Meshuggah at the time and Gavin co-wrote it as a drumming challenge to see how complex he could get. There's a good live version from Rockpalast.

He's always shoe-less. They have someone come out and vacuum before they start and during any intermission. One time I saw them, Richard Barbieri (keyboardist) came out and was vacuuming as a joke.

From the same concert, you MUST hear what I call the “companion song” to Cheating the Polygraph, called “What Happens Now”. It’s kinda similar, with Gavin again showing his virtuosity in the middle part….

Awesome I’ll add it to the list! Thank you 🙏

@@L33Reacts What Happens Now has a drum part that is pretty crazy towards the end of the song. Gavin plays 7/8 with triplets on the ride. It sounds weird but resolves every 3 measures.

You should step into their new stuff, both "harridan" and "dignity" are great reaction songs from their new album. Also "blackest eyes" is a great song, you should react to that too. Great reaction man, appreciated as always.

9:12 - I can't be 100% sure, but I think that the crowds in Europe are more chill and are there to enjoy the show which leads to them seeming (to some) as "passive" and I've heard someone say that "the crowd looks so bored, like they are falling to sleep" on one PT live video. x)

I loved open car! Such a fun track. You are so right, it’s like hanging out with a good friend that always says something that interests you.
