Whats up TH-cam, The other day I went to the performance shop (Horse Power- State Of The Art Performance) located in Opa-Locka FL, to get some ideas to make my hemi a little faster. The Owner Art gave me a suggestion and we came to the conclusion that I needed some long tube headers. He took the time out to help me find the right ones that would give me the most horse power that would fit in my budget. We went along and ordered some JBA Long Tube Headers 1 3/4, and this video is about how we did it.

Should have looked into an "H" pipe as well, ive heard and seen around the net that the factory......X pipe.....isn't really a true X pipe.....should have done a quick cold start with just strait heads lol.......all in all, nice work my friend, im looking at doing long tubes on my 300

Sounds Sick !🤙🏽 So you added a regular straight pipe to connect the headers to the rest of the exhaust? How’d you do it with the o2 censors ?

misael martinez yes sir. It stays on until you get a tune. But if you got active exhaust it you check engine light turns back on
How did they work out with ur car being lowered? Was clearance an issue?
I would definitely do a muffler delete on this with true duels

How long the install take bro? I just got my JBA waiting for them to arrive
🤦🏽♂️8-9 hours with a shop. Me and my coworker tried to install them at his house and it took 6 hours to take 1 off and another hour to put it back on.

I'm looking for performance.. how much more horse power was added? don't care about sound.. I want more torque on my dodge.
My bad for that late reply, but if you want more torque and horses get some long tube headers, full bolt ons, get a stage 2 or stage 3 cam with the full kit, then take it to the tuner... everything might come up to like 6k in parts but do everything in steps so you wont have to pay everything at once

U had to tune after headers?
I used my diablo tune after the install. It burns more gas without the tune

That doesn’t make sense, it’s a 6 to 8 hour job on average , The hourly labor alone would Surpass $600 and that’s on the low end , I don’t find it believable that the shop would charge that much or should I see that little for a job that I know isn’t hard but is very time consuming

Alberto Lopez I can answer your question with a simple if you know a friend that knows his work with cars have him do a header install bc here In Florida they where charging me 900 too 1000 for install of headers so me and my buddy took two days too install my headers it was worth the extra day bc I sure wasn’t gonna waist that much money

Hector Salgado lol. Thats cool you did it your self. Me and one of my coworkers tried to install the headers ourselves, it took us 7 hours to take the stocks off and to add the passenger side, and he took another hour to take it back off😂😂😂 he didnt want me to crank it at his house.
Lol u just want the sound huh. But little as u no the results & the correct way is 3inch from ur headers straight 2 ur back exhaust. U still have on factory back pipes they're 2 & a half inch so u kill n ur air flow
