IM ABOUT TO DO THIS TO MY SRT8 THIS WEEKEND WITH CATLESS MIDS THANKS FOR SHOWING YOUR PROCESS
Just installed stainless works long tubes with high flow cats and put a 91 tune from diablo but keep get p0420 code any advice
Sounds good ….my Guy 🔥🔥🔥💙💪🏽300GANG🙌🏽Fam
Nice bro, i got a set of KOOKS that i brought to install on my 300, recently changed plans, great job on yours 300GANG💪
WOW! Sounds amazing!
Thanks!
Do the long tube headers make the engine light come even if you keep the original 🐈⬛ with the muffler delete
I'm not sure if long tubes would work with stock cats. I think it would require a lot of fabrication to make that work. I honestly haven't seen that done before. I think you could keep the stock cats with shorty headers.
I need help I did the same thing had a shop to install long tube header now my car check engine lights on codes P0325 knock sensor P0113D oxygen sensor and P113E I have changed all of them out I think they messed up my car they put two holes in my header to install the top sensor and put the lower sensor in the hole that came on the header close to cat I don’t got no sensor coming after the cat if can understand me please explain how that goes
Yeah that sounds bad. There always needs to be a sensor before the cats and one after. Not sure why they did that. The kits usually come with extensions to be able to connect the sensors appropriately. As far as the knock sensor code I'm not sure why you would be getting that one. Mine was just giving me a code for a leak and one for the cats because of the increased airflow. Did they give you any type of warranty?
ive seen this car up for sale, possibly might be interested in getting it. just had a few questions about it, if you’re cool answering them
Yeah that's cool
Sounds awesome man.
Is this the AWD version? I have 2014 AWD but I think the transfer case might get in the way
Thanks. Mine is RWD. I'm not 100% sure but I think they also make headers for AWD versions, I got these off ebay but if you go to fasthemis.com and search for headers I think AWD is an option.
This is probably a dumb question but I have a resonator and muffler delete if I want headers on my 5.7 Chrysler do I need connection down pipes ?
Nah they’ll connect right to your cats or if they’re catted headers they’ll connect to your exhaust past the cats. I have a the same thing and slapped headers on mine
@@nickgivens6378 thank you bro
@@nickgivens6378 what if they’re catless headers ? The same concept?
Where you get the gaskets? Since it doesn’t come with it
I just bought the factory ones at autozone. It made the install a bit harder since they're bigger but they work fine
Do you have the part numbers to everything
This is the info on the kit I bought: Stainless Works SHM64HDRCAT Stainless Power Headers 1-7/8" With Catted Leads. It has everything you need except for the header gaskets
how much for the tuning part?
I paid $250 back in 2019 for a custom tune and the update for the long tubes was no charge.
Did u need 02 extensions for it ?
Yes, but almost all kits have them included. The kit I bought was Stainless Works SHM64HDRCAT Stainless Headers 1-7/8" With Catted leads. It includes everything you need except for the header gaskets.
Hold on to that car! They're not making 300's and the LAST hemi's are being built now! I have a 2015 300s redline pearlcoat, compliments all day long!
NOT the hemi though!
Question did u have to retune it after putting the headers on?
Yes you do need a tune for the headers
I drove mine without a tune for about 2 weeks no issues but then the check engine light came on. You definitely do need a tune to get the most of out the new headers
@@Lench_TV I have a tune but idk if I would have to re tune it to a custom tune if I install headers
Mine had a custom tune as well before installing the headers, but my tuner sent me a revised tune for the long tube headers
Do i need a tune right away ?
It is recommended you do but I've had them for a little over a month and have not been able to tune it yet and it's running good, the check engine light came on for a while but turned off on its own and hasn't come back. But to get the full benefit of the headers it is highly recommended that you tune it.
