    I was considering buying the a7s3 to improve my video quality...r.n. ive a a6500 +18-105 and 50 1.8
    Literally you at the end: you just need a a6500 and a 50 1.8
    Me:
    🤡
    For real tho, I live in a small area in Italy and I've started business videos for small companies such as barbers and butchers,ive only made 4 videos for now but yeah, with covid everything's harder, b. owners are less likely to invest in videos even tho i truly think this is the time one should do it: when even your competitors are in a bad spot. You truly gave me inspiration cause i see a lot of what u went through and ur past in mine and what i'm living right now. This is actually the most honest video ive seen, filled with amazing advices. And you kept it very real, others are like: you should charge 1k for a video and if they dont accept, move on cause they dont deserve you ! long story short. tysm i'll treasure these suggestions

    • @RodrigoTasca
      @RodrigoTasca  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Happy that I can help! For the first part look into getting some lighting and audio gear before you upgrade cameras.
      With video is Europe overall I know it's a tougher sell (especially in Italy my dad lives in Rome) but look for the businesses that are already spending money on advertising. Facebook ads library is a great source to check on what businesess are running ads. Best of luck!

Sometimes TH-cam videos in this genre are so loud and flashy that I get a headache and come away with little information. This was the opposite, and I appreciate it very much. Good advice man! I was about to kick off my LLC Feb, then the Pandemic was announced. Should I still, at this time setup my LLC, or wait until this climate is normal again? It’s for a production company and I can still generate finished product and freelance but I’m weary as filming has somewhat paused. Do I NEED an LLC?

    • @RodrigoTasca
      @RodrigoTasca  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yo! So I'm not a lawyer or CPA but I would probably wait. I don't know how much money you're generating to see if getting an LLC would be worth it. I would be tight with my money until this whole thing blows over.

      @@RodrigoTasca Sounds silly but I've worked for free, just for free. You added the referral thing + review. I find that very important.
      You also gave me a new perspective about the client lifetime. Now I'll look for businesses that have this (You already gave some examples of businesses with that).
      Other little but not less important things are; Quickbooks, a little bit of psychology to close deals and a great detail that is to give to the lead the direct link of the portfolio section in the webpage. I already know the benefits that you can take from working for free (Improving skills, Networking), but for sure I'll appreciate more now.
      You remark a lot the importance of networking and getting clients of it but, do you have a video about getting cold door clients? (I hope it's said like that in english).

    This is awesome! A no-nonsense video that gets to the point!
    Thank you for providing your experience as a resource. This will help a lot for me and my friends.
    I had one question is you don’t mind me asking. For the videos you make, do you just shoot / edit the video and send over the file to the clients? Like they’re simply paying for the video itself correct?
    I’m wondering, for local businesses that may not have a strong social media presence, how should we approach them? Do we show them where and how to post? Or just provide the video and that’s it?
    Let me know if you have any insight about that!

      Bro such a good question! Here's the thing every business is going to be a little different some will just want the video and other will pay extra for you to do everything. For the most part right now I'm just shooting and editing and giving them the videos. Other's I'll upload and optimize the videos for them.
      When approaching new business I would look to see the companies that are spending money on marketing or you see that they care about "branding" from there just make a connection and introduce yourself. "Hey I see that you're a new business and you don't know me I'm blt productions and if you guys ever have questions video or ever want to shoot one l would love to help"

    Rodrigo, id really like to thank you for this video and congratulate you on your achievements, looks like you've come a long way. I just have some questions in how you sell these videos to your clients. What do you tell them you're making the video for? Is it for their social media page? What are they actually doing with these videos? I have a passion for filmmaking and can make quality videos/ads, but I'm struggling to find ways I can sell these videos to clients (aka how this video will benefit the business). Thankyou so much, you earned another subscriber and i'm about to check out a bunch more videos on your channel!

    Hey Rodrigo Great video man! I got a question for you , what business do you think wil still be interested in video production services with all this crazy stuff happening?

    • @RodrigoTasca
      @RodrigoTasca  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Views Lux Great questions but all of them honestly. Using video to show people how/what you’re doing to prevent covid is huge. I would focus on big service businesses that may visit customers homes. Let me know if this helped!

    Coming across this video a year later has been the best timing. I'm in the process of doing exactly this kind of work and after hearing how you started just reinforced my thought process in starting. After a lot of time on TH-cam, this video by far has been the most valuable and I thank you for that.

    Me and my associate are in the process of booting up a production company and we just created our demo reel. Is there any things you suggest we plan out before we start marketing ourselves to potential clients?

    • @RodrigoTasca
      @RodrigoTasca  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya for sure, make sure your demo reel is targeted to the clients you're looking for. So if you're looking to work with businesses don't show wedding footage or if you're looking to work with dentist make sure your reel doesn't have shots of food or restaurants. Don't be afraid to add some stock clips in there to help fill any missing links.
