I hadn't watched and for a while and suddenly got this video recommended. I'm about to start a film company myself and was totally lost. Never imagined such an incredible entire freaking series existed. What an amazing guy !!!!!
you guys are so likable, humble and down to earth. to make a video like this, without the usual bragging one can see on other filmmakers channels, speaks for you.
Love watching these episodes guys. It feels like this should be on Netflix - the quality is so high and the longer form is refreshing for TH-cam. I also like how you don't rush your edits. You take time between each segment, it's very relaxing to watch.
Thanks for being so transparent with us, guys! We really appreciate it! And, this is seriously so inspiring to watch! Thanks for taking time out of your schedule for making these kind of videos!
These episodes are gold! And they are so important as inspiration for others. You have the skills, work ethic, and personality to create something great. And you got the grit and willingness to take on the risk to start a company - which not many people do. And the fact you are sharing this process with others is nothing less than amazing! I hope many new people find this channel, subscribe, and become a Patreon. You deserve it!
I had tears in my eyes watching this as our production company is in the same position at moment. We are a team of four "Thiqa Media. " We are Film Production Agency that is also looking to expand into the digital marketing space. The reason is that our social media management arm of the business saved us whilst going through covid in Australia. Watching you all grow not just through your successes but also through all the challenges is extremely inspiring and unbelievably relatable. Thank you!
coming from poverty in nyc, started a recording studio/ video production and life is good now 4 years later. I liked and subscribed as this is the first video of yours I watched. just filmed a video for young money!
It's pretty bad. ESPECIALLY with Adblock and TH-cam vanced, lots of potential income has gone down the drain. Hopefully TH-cam does something about this eventually...
multiple factors in this, they live in norway, cost of living there is really high, also Adsense doesn't pay well for Norwegians, Americans and British channels pay more and you can definitely live off the revenue.
@@AlpsLifee It's not that Adsense doesn't pay well in Norway. It depends where your views come from. In fact on a per-ad basis Adsense pays more per Norwegian viewer, but there's just not the volume here. I'm in Norway myself, but most of my views come from the US, Canada, and the UK.
Hi dear fellow creators I was working in a production company here in Dubai as a business development manager/DOP I just started as a freelancer as my first step to make my own media house. And it was very inspiring and useful thanks for making this and God bless you for future endeavors 🙂
This is so awesome to watch. For me it's just 2 of us and we get overwhelmed often. It must be great having a big team to put your heads together. Our work is mostly easy stuff to shoot. Mostly corporate work for insurance companies.
Start of a new month (in some parts of the world) and a new episode drops. Thanks for the budget breakdown and explanation of expenses. Glad to see the company growing.
Thank you for showing me and giving me motivation. You have no idea how much I needed to see this today! I am planning on moving to to my GFs country and was trying to figure out ways to sustain myself as a freelance filmmaker. I felt low and hopeless because I thought it will be a impossible challenge, but like the video says .... we all have challenges we just need to know how to manage them. Thanks a lot guys. I have been watching your videos since the start. Love it
I’ve been a huge fan of you guys since the start of 2018. And seeing Jordy just brought a huge smile on my face. You guys are my inspiration and I wish to start my own film company someday. Thank you for the content.
Thank you very much for your dedication to TH-cam videos! I Love hearing perspectives from your journeys, and getting insights into the reality of film making
I really love to hear theses stories. As a part-time filmmaker / photographer I've been growing more and more every year in a small city. I still work a full-time job so it's a challenge but one I enjoy pursuing till hopefully I can make a transition to full-time production.
I really like the approach you have on these videos, very honest and clear. I regret not having visited the studio while I was living in Oslo last year.
In the US all the time spent on TH-cam videos can be categorized as Marketing, Promotion and Sales. All are tax deductible expenses which decreases or can protect any Net Profits we would also instead have to pay taxes on.
Thank you! This is helping me a lot. I've known since I was 12 that I've wanted to create my own company and your channel is giving me a lot of insight as I am a senior in college right now.
Thank you so much for sharing all this, guys!! Been following Andyax for years now, it's very cool to see the evolution. Very inspiring for me too. Wish you all the best, keep up the good work!!
Really glad for you guys, Watch all of Morton's fantastic time lapses and all your fantastic videos Andyax, a BIG hats off to all staff for great efforts...AWESOME videos...PERIOD....
Fascinating video. I think if future/potential clients saw this video, they would have more confidence in hiring you and your staff. This was so well produced and edited, if I were a client I would immediately hire you.
I feel the struggle. There are many ways to have an income but i think the best way is to do too many small things and diversify yourself, never say no to a project.
This is really inspiring, i'm stuck shooting one man band ever since the Pandemic . i will get back to collaborating and building a team. And especially think of ways of Earning instead on just surving. thanks for this video
OMG this video is simply amazing. I have a music production studio and can relate to this so much! Thank you for sharing your workflow! Love from Brasil.
This is so great. I’m sure it took a lot of time and effort to piece all of these clips and figures together. Thank you so much for sharing all of this
Fantastic and honest breakdown of the financial side of running a production company. Personally, I have been working in digital marketing and consulting for the past years, but started getting into freelance film & commercial production this year. For someone starting out, would recommend joining a production company or freelance?
Sykt bra video Anders, blir inspirert av dette. Er det mulig i fremtiden å hjelpe til hvis dere trenger folk deltid eller fulltid? Likte den delen med Jordy 😅 Kjekt å høre at dere gjør det så bra!🙂
I would of been one of those three people that lost their full-time job lol. It's been years since I've watched one of your videos. Cool to be back (had to resubscribe with my new account).
Very inspiring guys! I stumbled onto your channel today for the first time and I'm very glad I did. This video in particular resonates very well with me, as I've been acting as a sole proprietor in filmmaking since 2017 but started to do more jobs with a friend of mine a couple of years ago. We are now looking to expand our business, so watching this video almost gave me the chills. Subscribed! Hälsningar från grannarna i öst :) /Fredrik
Gone are the days when movie companies had to hire a Panavision camera and those profoundly expensive lenses. Kubrick was the first director who owned has camera and lenses, and shared some of them with his fellows. Now Directors of Photography can choose several cameras and a vast array of lenses. Indi makers have tools that are indistinguishable from Hollywood, and now they own it.
Its horiffing how youtube is slowly dying..Videos are no longer shown to the subscribers.Revenue is pretty Low compare to the views.I miss the times when youtube wasnt saturated and if you a upload a video. It would get thousands of views in minutes and the revenue was fair.I miss the times when the views came from the subscribers
Thanks for being so open about business Things. I think that is the Most scary Part die creatives. Congrats for doubling your revenue every year. How did you do that? More clients? Higher prices?

It’s scary how TH-cam revenue has just evaporated for many creators. It used to be a much better revenue source.
It's pretty bad. ESPECIALLY with Adblock and TH-cam vanced, lots of potential income has gone down the drain. Hopefully TH-cam does something about this eventually...
Supply and Demand. Everyone and their dog is uploading crap to TH-cam that nobody watches. Someones got to pay for that.

Not true. Target the right audience and the money is decent.
I used to watch your videos 10 years ago. They were great then, and I'm glad you can continue to do what you love
I watch your TH-cam all the time as I just moved from New York to Dallas to start a production company this really inspires me. Thank you 😊
