Probably not meta but dual wielding that new one handed sword that gives melee damage for attunement. Stack that and healing effectiveness as a paladin. Use vengeance as an armor/fire shred/armor stack/damage resist while healing hands heals and damages with the stupid high amount of Attune and HE. Use smite as an attack speed and global melee fire damage buff when it’s auto cast from the uniques. Flexible with the other skills. Judgement would fit nice with the healing aura for more sustain and armor shredding.

I've come up with an idea I have to try out for Forgeguard. Two handed forge guard with Phantom Grip and Rule of the Simoon unique gloves. I am hoping that this will lead to forged weapons summoning crazy amounts of fire res shredding fire tornados

I got the same idea, but i dont think it will work. Because I dont think (plz someone correct me if Im wrong) the phantom grip double or triple (if you have 2 ring) the stats of your gloves. That mean you will have 30%+30%+30% chance to create a tornado with a 3 sec cooldown not 3x30%. So you will have a good amount of tornado but not insane amount. I personnaly put in my build planner for the gloves a Exalted with Hybrid HP (so survivability for the forged weapons) + shred armour chance (up to 300% per hit) + melee attack speed + minion damage but I dont knwo if it will work. And I want to try the set for forge strike and forged weapon.
