@LaLidoLoca In Hawaii I visited Volcano National Park on a land tour in the morning and then flew over the volcano in a helicopter in the afternoon, so yes I would!
Are you aware that you just won an award from some channel called ‘embrace today’ for being the greatest cruisetuber in the history of the know universe! It’s like winning an Oscar, an Olympic gold, and a Blockbuster Entertainment Award all in one! Congratulations!
Licorice in Iceland is super salty and tastes way different than the licorice you commonly find in the US (though you can find some of that Norwegian style licorice online if you look for it). It's so good with chocolate because it's like chocolate covered pretzels - salty and sweet combination. :)
Tony, you are living the Life!! Appreciate you taking us along, you are a great tour narrator! You and Don look refreshed and younger, any stress melted in the warm water! Keep your great enthusiasm and sense of humor, we love it!!
We went to the Blue Lagoon in 2022. You are lucky it’s open or even still operating - was worried it was going to be destroyed. Lots of people say it’s touristy but we loved it. Iceland does an excellent job monitoring volcanic activity.
I was stationed in Iceland at NAS Keflavik. I was a member of the 57 Fighter Interceptor Squadron, the Black Knights. I loved going in to town to the municipal pool in Keflavik The weather you saw was typical for a summer day in Iceland. One summer day when I was there it was so warm and sunny we all went out in our t-shirts. It was still only about 65 degrees, lol. There was a pile of snow from snow plowing the parking lot, next to the USO. There was still snow there on the 4th of July, lol.
The last time I was in Iceland, we went to the Blue Lagoon as soon as we landed. It was the best way to beat jet lag. It beats sleeping in the lobby waiting for your room. With the volcano activity I'm surprised it's still open.
@@LaLidoLoca Eruptions have occurred several times this year, I have been watching the activity. The road gets blocked, they clear it and it gets blocked again. Several months back the lava floes reached Gryndavyk, the town which is closed, and it was evacuated.
Blue lagoon was closed when I was there the first week of June because the volcano was erupting. I've been there before and loved it. I went to the Sky Lagoon instead. It's my new favorite. The water is clear and not blue cloudy. It doesn't have all the silica in the water. It's still mineral rich. Look it up for the future, It's supremely cool. 😊 Its 100° here in Maryland. I'd really rather be in Iceland!!!❤
It’s changed so much since 2018. I was there on a cruise. There was no building when you got off ship. Thank you for taking me along because now I wanna go back.
The meeting between Gorbachev and Reagan at the summit in Iceland happened 6 months before we moved there (we moved there in 1987). I remember hearing about it a LOT while we were there. It was a big deal for the locals apparently. :) Thank you so much for these vlogs! I love seeing Iceland almost 40 years later. I want to take my husband there and I'm thinking a cruise might be the way to do it.
Absolutely loved this video & other vlogs that you've done. Especially with Don, your friendship is just amazing. I hope you do many more of these. You both make watching them so much fun. It's just like we are there with you guys. Harriet from PA
When I retired in 2019, one of the stops was in Reykjavik. Loved the Blue lagoon. Got to spend 2 hours in that warm 98° water. Loved it. I follow you and Don consistently.
I was in the Navy back in the '80s. I was always hoping for orders to Reykjavik. No joy. Thanks for taking me along on this excursion! I'm with you: $100 per day per person for a basic balcony. Gorbachev and Reagan met at the formal French consulate in Reykjavik. I had to look it up.
We were just there ahead of you, maybe a few days prior, on the Disney Dream. We were offered the Blue Lagoon excursion, but we went to the Sky Lagoon instead, and we were SO thankful we did. Our cruisers who went to the BL encountered garbage, overcrowding, and it was so underwhelming for them. ☹️ Sky Lagoon was MUCH more accessible, inclusive, spotless, and so BEAUTIFUL and peaceful - much more "spa", much more design centered/cultural and nowhere near poisonous gas risks. 😳
I was in Iceland in 2012 for photography tour. My friend and I went to the Blue Lagoon 3 times in 10 days. It was March, so was snowing. I loved the crisp, cold air contrasting with the thermal waters. We just used our hands to scrape the sides of the lagoon to get the mask.
Great Video and I love my chocolate licorice, you and Don are the best. Will be on the Diamond Princess out of Adelaide South Australia for 3 weeks in October going to New Zeland.
Man do I envy you right now. Being bored stuck in Indiana when you have a gypsy soul is very hard. One thing I always find funny is that your on the Caribbean princess but nowhere near the Caribbean lol. I remember a while back when I was down south. Seeing the princess when I was out on my waverunner which is fairly large. I could easy get 3 people on it. And still have enough room on the back for an extra 5 gallons. 4 fishing poles my cooler and backpack. Luckily under the front also has a ton of room for other storage. I certainly recommend traveling from key west to the Bahamas by jet ski. Get a group of folks that also ride and we all drive all around. I've actually ridden clear from my aunts up in Louisiana following the coast all the way down to the keys and further on. I love st John's. Love city is Amazing
Tony, you’re bringing back my happy memories of the Blue Lagoon in June 2016! I loved it - they have streams to pound on your back and shoulders! You guys look great in your mud masks. Thanks for showing us the new lava flows - I’d been wondering how they would handle the eruptions!
Tony, you really have great photography equipment. You can zoom in to those mountains with snow on them plus your "water polo" shots put us right there with you in the hot springs. You won the Gold 🥇🪙 Olympic Medal in Iceland 🎉😊.
Thank you, thank you for taking us to the Blue Lagoon- I enjoyed seeing it- It is neat that you and Don are both doing these excursions together- I am enjoying seeing your excursion videos from this trip
I'll grant that it might be difficult to tell from your camera, but your face did look smoother after the mud! I'll save Reykjavik for after I get my hip surgery. I would definitely want to spend a few hours walking around town. Fascinating!
We found some of the "vents" where the hot water comes out and just hung out there --- it was delightful ---- When I was there about 10 yrs ago (we spent a week in Iceland) the bottom of the lagoon was all silica mud and you could just scoop it up and "mud mask" yourself, we "mudded up" our whole bodies ---- last year, they had to scoop the mask into your hand like they did for you .... I don't remember it being paved 10 years ago. Although I love a geothermal pool, there are several all over Iceland and I'm ready to try another one.
Love the masks! The Lagoon is awesome. Good for you two doing that experience! The rainbow roads are fun. Lol snack searching again. Love it! Thanks. Fun day.
Such a good tour, Tony! My friend and I did the blue lagoon when we were in Reykjavik. But, we were there in December. The volcano hadn’t yet erupted, so the buses dropped us off right at the door. We had a bit of ice on the ramp you take to get out of the lagoon. The weirdest part was the entire lagoon fogged over at one point and we couldn’t see anything more than a foot in front of your face. Loved the mud mask and bought some to bring home.
We just returned from 8 days in Iceland. Land tours, but we LOVED Iceland and are planning to go again on a cruise next year. We were not able to get to the northern cities of Iceland and most cruises go there.
Loving the videos from this cruise. The Blue Lagoon is so relaxing. I went there in September 2017. I chose the evening to go….right around sunset. Once it was dark out more and more people left so it got better and better and the lighting in the dark was magical.
I loved my week in Reykjavik , the Golden Circle tour is fantastic, then the Blue Lagoon, and getting a citi-pass which includes museums and busses. I was there in December, they run geothermal water under the sidewalks to keep clear of Ice and snow.
Would you do a tour close to an active volcano?
I would not, after White Island?
F Yea!!!
@@shirleycraig2848 ya I watched the White Island doc. Scary
Very!@@LaLidoLoca

My daughter and I loved the Blue Lagoon when we were in Iceland. I appreciated that they limit the number of people who can be there at a time.

Jenny won't recognize you when you get home! You're 10 years younger Loved the view down the rainbow 🌈 road
Now I really want to go to the Blue Lagoon! It looks like a perfect, relaxing excursion!
I’ve been to Iceland. It’s a beautiful country. Loved the blue lagoon ❤. Nice.
There are spikets with running water along the edge to rinse off your silica mask.---I loved my visit.
Both you and Don have done a wonderful job sharing Iceland with your viewers. Thank you!

Great information Tony! Thank you for sharing!
I love when you share your adventures. I want more! The cold beer in the hot lagoon was priceless! Oh and sharing it with your best friend 😊
Congratulations 🎉Tony on being on the top of the list , when it comes to cruise news!!
Blue lagoon is amazing when it snows.
This may be the best video you have ever filmed. Loved the information and you being you!
Love this series of videos! Happy to see you two together, keep on enjoying it!
Thank you for showing the Blue Lagoon. I have an excursion there next year. Looks like you both enjoyed it--good to hear!

So Beautiful; one of my bucket list trips.
You were brave to go to the Blue Lagoon this week given that the geologists are saying another volcanic eruption is imminent!

Wow lookin young there Tony! 👍🏼👍🏼😊
The views were beautiful. 😊
LOVE THIS TYPE OF CONTENT!!!! I was able to see it through your and Don’s eyes! Very cool!!!!
You missed the Phallic museum? It has 295 different ones in it and was so interesting. Got my best t-shirt ever in there
I really really love see Iceland 🇮🇸 though your eyes.. thank you so much for this video 📹
Is it ironic that you are on the CARIBBEAN Princess in ICELAND 😊
We were on her last year to Greenland. It does seem weird😂
You look as relaxed and happy as I felt in a couple of those thermal springs.
We were just there ahead of you, maybe a few days prior, on the Disney Dream.

Great Star Trek reference Tony! Really nice to see you and Don enjoying your time together ❤ and you both look 15 years younger!
I heard of the lagoon. I love the water 💦 so the blue lagoon would be a kick! You’re a fantastic tour guide, Tony! Thanks for sharing! 😊
We were in Iceland last April. It was snowing while we were at the Blue Lagoon. Our hair was frozen but our bodies were warm. Loved it!
Looks great beer and good hot water! Just amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Interesting I did see some graphite on one pf the walls - guess it is everywhere.
Nice Port Day! I especially loved the Blue lagoon and your mud mask.

Hot springs are great. We have been to ones in Oregon and Nevada.
It doesn't get any better than that Tony. That beer looked refreshing lol
We went up the Perla there. I think you would’ve enjoyed that as well.

I think this has been my favorite video, yet! It was really informative and fun. I love you and Don together.
Wow, so very cool!!!
Another great tour, thank you. Loved the Captain James T Kirk reference
That vulcano just erupted again today. Lucky you missed it
We were there a day before you. Had a wonderful time. Would love to go back for a longer stay.
Wow you and Don really did look younger. 🤗
I loved the Blue Lagoon! Volcanic mud mask was pretty cool! I loved this vlog❤
Loved Iceland and the Blue Lagoon. Spent a day there!
So good to see you walking out and about.
I'm jealous. I really would love to go there
So weird. We were in that very corner store a week ago! Even the same cashier.
Great tour, very interesting! Love both of you guys channels! You two are my favorite and I look forward to your new videos.
I'll grant that it might be difficult to tell from your camera, but your face did look smoother after the mud!
