Changing the boosters to only in game was huge for me. Especially when it takes quite a while to queue for matches and that took most my booster to good stuff.
5:20 The bug where youre locked out of using your ability, if you switch to the other factions ability and then switch back, you can use your ability like normal again. Although if you switch to another faction, youll lose your ultimate charge percentage and have to start over

the best thing is the battlepass is refundable. you pay 1k and recive 1.3k if you complete it. if they put a penalty for leavers will make the game much better btw
I like a lot of the additions they made for S1 as far as content and guns go. I main Phantoms so I felt the nerf was kinda harsh but I get it. Spider bots need a rework imo, it’s now unfair that you yourself can’t get it off your face. Echelon nerf is kinda meh; you don’t really notice a difference all that much. I still think it should just work for whoever activates the ability instead of the whole team seeing enemies. Otherwise I’m just glad to see they’re updating the game, trying new things and seeing our reactions. It makes me feel like they’re actually working on the big stuff behind the scenes like hit reg and netcode since they’re implementing little changes here and there. Btw @Espresso I’m a big fan of the vids, love the content! I hope to come across you in a lobby one day!
They need a cap on how many people can use the same characters because ive run into games where 90% of the lobby was using the echelon wall hack ability

All I had to do was change to another faction after dying (then back to the one that was bugged if you want), and it seemed to fix it for me. On another note, all the changes seem to be positive imo.

i use the spider bot & i play with the controller edge with the lowest trigger stopper setting but sometimes the spider just doesn’t wanna activate prob cause of the trigger stoppers
Has anyone else noticed that the Firebomb in the Cleaners class acting weird? Like now wherever I'm in close quarters getting shot at, or bump into the enemy it will cancel the action. I can't pinpoint what is triggering this, but I was not having any sort of problems like this before
I think echelon is glitched. Every time you’re EMP’d or if deadsec uses their super, you can’t use the intel suit for the whole game unless you respawn with a different class and then switch back

Due to the new booster changes, i used all my Battle Pass Boosters i stockpiled and got 8 hours in game time worth of Boosters. My Weapon Xp i'm saving for when i unlock the LVOA-C.
I wonder what Season 2 will have. I would like a full auto pistol, the Stechkin APB. Thought of getting some more Soviet Cold War weapons into the arsenal.
They should've put at least one of them the first unlock feels dumb that a new weapons came out and one has none to try. They are free anyway and will no doubt have a easy challenge way to get them after BP so no need to be high.
I really do enjoy this game. A fresh start instead of purchasing fps games (looking at you cod) for half my soul. Xdefiant's battlepass price is not too bad as well 😁

The update is amazing the only thing I don't like is that there is not any epic/legendary skin from the battle pass for the new weapons just like the mdr which had it
I don't like that they fixed the "bug" where you can shoot the spider bot off you. And I am even "that guy" that often uses it! Even more, I don't like that it is nowhere to be found in the patch notes - since we have told how there would be complete openness and no stealth buffs and nerfs. And this is a HUGE buff, but the patch notes plays it off like the spider bot mostly got nerfed due to the time increase. But you can still drop that thing A LOT. I didn't think the shield needed nerf. I know its a popular ability, and used a lot - but also... easy to shoot, if more than one shoot at it, its gone in no time, even with the 500hp, on top of that EMP and deadsec hack can take it out in a split second.
We need more game modes. OG cods had gun game, infected, one in the chamber, snd, capture the flag, and many more as staples on launch. Regardless of OG cod, differing game modes keep you on the game. I don't mind being 'drip fed' content, but not with game modes
Did they change m16?! I swear there is a delay between bursts now. Before the patch I could spam my r1 mouse click button to kill enemies and now it’s delayed. Don’t knowing intended or bugged. This makes the m16 really shit now
Everything is great in S1 except for the spiderbot, I can't shoot it anymore by looking down at the ground, and somehow it seems like it has more range than before because it's able to jump me from corners and shit, anyway what thing should be reworked completely, it's cheap, doesn't help the team, and is so bugged that it just makes for a frustrating experience, and since they don't seem to have a plan to do a proper team limit on the number of operator per team. At least they need to nerf that thing to the ground or rework it bc it's so annoying right now.
Spider Bot is super buggy can’t even shoot it once it grabs on or as it approaches half the time it’s glitched in the ground ; & then lobbies are super laggy , in comparison to preupdate FPS show 140-170 but literally looks & plays like 30. But literally had a ENTIRE team using spider bots & my team ended up leaving the lobby , 3 separate times.then my intel suit wouldn’t refresh after using it .
It added shit. I throw my grenades and 4/10 the grenade glitches out and just transports to a different dimension. Not to mention the fact that I can use my ability 1 time per match. Makes sense

By far one of the worst updates I’ve ever seen in a game. FPS has dropped significantly on all platforms since the update. All factions got some sort of nerf but DedSec with that annoying and broken Spiderbot got a buff and now you can’t even shoot them. I’d like to have a talk with the guy who thought the Spiderbot was a good idea in the first place. Netcode is still horrible and I keep getting shot around walls. Jump and crouch spam still a big issue, there was at least 1-2 players in each of the 15 games I played today just hitting their crouch or jump buttons as fast as they physically could. Overall massive L for XDefiant, it’s a shame cause I was genuinely eager to start grinding the new skins.

I believe Hijack is very situational its a good thing to have but, very situational. SPIDERBOT ON THE OTHER HAND.... can just put the brakes on you mid-fight and you'll lose that fight, OR if you see it coming towards you; you have to prioritize Destroying it or you'll lose a Fight.
@@Colorplastered I have 21 spiderbot kills but have never used it, they are all reverse spiderbot kills 🤣. Loads of people use shields and proximity mines too, there is nothing you can’t reverse really
Casual players WILL TAKE WEEKS IF NOT MONTHS TO UNLOCK THE NEW WEAPONS !! They should change these to CHALLENGED BASED and take them out of the Battle pass !!
Personally IMO and experience, hit detection just got worse. Just blazed an entire mag at close rage into someone head and they didn’t die… 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 Also since season 1 dropped…I’m only placed into matches that have already started, constantly. Cannot get placed into a fresh game from the start.

Tried that with echlone with the gillie suit and it didn’t work.
700,000 score for GSK is crazy!! And you have to manually activate it, I wasted hella score and the daily challenges cuz I thought it was automatic.

S1 is so good and found the shock wire in gsk so fun to use having a blast

Bug with Spiderbot is you can no longer shoot it off your face.
I noticed as a full MP7 clip couldn't destroy it when normally about 30-50% of a clip of MP7 would take it out.
Sadly it's not a bug, it's how it was intended to be originally apparently. Being able to shoot it was a bug.

You can’t aim down and shoot spiderbots anymore it’s so stooopid. If you get caught you’re stuck.
