- Hi friends, In this video I am excited to review the new Gucci Cushion De Beaute Foundation and the new Dior Glow Bronzer in shade 31. I wanted to show you some comparison swatches. I wanted to review also the new Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Nuit Blanche lipsticks along with anew Tarte shape tape radiant concealer that just launched in Europe. I was able to get the new Chloe Nomade Nuit d Egypte eau de parfum and this is becoming my current favorite fragrance.

Happy birthday Angela! In my humble opinion since both foundations are similar I think you should buy #3 for summer and winter! The difference between the two is that #3 is a tiny bit rosier and better than #2 which makes your skin flat all over (because it matches your skin 100%)! 😊❤

It can be drying to dry skin, but if you use your skincare well, it is long lasting and works beautifully. I do think the Gucci cushion foundation is beautiful, too. The Dior Capture Dream Skin Fresh & Perfect Cushion is one of my all-time favorite Summer complexion products. It wears so well over all of my SPFs and is easy to reapply during the day.

Great vid 🎉 I have the Guerlain concealer and foundation ❤which I love the concealer does not cake at all and the foundation I have got many compliments on and it looks beautiful I set my face very lightly with Givenchy powder giving it a beautiful finish it is already a powder foundation and doesn’t need to much powder 🎉❤

The reason the cushion foundation comes with the puff is because you are SUPPOSED TO apply it with the puff. I can never understand why all westerner always apply cushion foundation the wrong way. Judging by the pathetic shade range, I am positive that cushion foundation targets asian market. Anw Happy Bday Angela! Always love your makeup!
Agree on that. Cushion foundations are formulated differently than the bottled ones and not designed for use w brushes. It changes the coverage considerably and might not apply the way it's supposed too. I also must say I never met a brush that applies as seamless as any cushion puff

I like both the traditional Tarte shape tape and the Tarte creamy concealer. Both actually work on my dry skin BUT the creamy concealer has a naturally radiant finish and I'd say medium to high medium coverage. Definitely more moisturising. You only need a small amount as it goes far, it sets properly and on me never creases whether I powder or not. Also really nice is the Tarte Sea Hydro concealer, it's thinner and sets quicker, also good coverage and doesn't crease on me. I'd say it's well suited for hot weather too.

Hi Jessa :) Thank you so much! I agree the type of puff is important but I didn't like the Gucci sponge. So I believe I only used it once. About the meteorites: I will get two for sure and then I can't decide between 1 and 3. I think 1 can be used almost like a highlighter and 3 is probably going to add a touch of color to my face. In the past Guerlain used to have a meteorites blush and that one was amazing! I wish they would make a blush and a bronzer.

Hi Kanuk ❤️ Thank you so much for watching my videos and I apologize for the late reply. I almost never wear mascara on my bottom lashes. They are naturally very long and dark which is unusual. My mom used to have the same and I suppose I inherited that from her. Sometimes when they shed (usually once a year) this is the time when I may apply a touch of mascara until they grow back long but in the past few months I haven't used mascara on my bottom lashes. The girls at my Guerlain counter are very excited about this upcoming collection. I can't wait to try the products. I hope they will keep the good quality of the meteorites. I keep calling the Guerlain counter every week. They said they can sell me the products in advance in case they arrive earlier :)

I have tried the Tarte concealers and found them to be extremely drying.
My eye area is naturally on the dry side so this concealer did not work

I did try the tarte shape tape concealer the original and it was horrendous on my dry mature skin. I don’t know if this one you have is the same as the newer hydrating Tarte shape tape or a new new one. I would need samples first because now I’m scared.
This is a different one. There are multiple Shape tape concealers now: the original, the creamy and this radiant. I have dry skin and can wear all of them. Most people use far far too much product which leads to caking. You need very little of that formula. The creamy shape tape is very nice, it's not dry and has a natural finish. Again very little is necessary. Tarte also has a Sea Hydro concealer that's thin and easy to use. It's not drying either, has a natural finish but has lower coverage.

@@Frenchforaday true then can u possibly incorporate the CDP eyeshadow palettes one day sense they are permanent and u don't have many looks with them. I just ordered 1 sand dune and 3 driftwood and I already have 4, 10 and 12 . I love the CDP formula. Just a thought for some inspo.

Hi Louise ❤️ Happy Belated birthday! :) The meteorites don't have glitters but they have a beautiful luminosity. I will review the new ones and compare them to the old ones that I have. I think they are changing the scent and slightly altering the ingredients to make them more "clean". They still haven't arrived in Europe. They should be released in April but they launched earlier in USA. If you want wait for my review. I will show closeups. As far as I know they should be permanent so no need to rush. xoxo

I really can't see any difference between shades 02 and 03, but I have a poor sight 🫣 I won't buy that foundation though, because the shade range is very poor, considering the price tag, and skin undertones aren't even mentioned. I would probably have chosen the shade 01 (I'm paler than you, tan and bronzers look unflattering on me), but the 03 seems to be rosy, which would be the best match... (the Chantecaille cushion in shade Aura is just perfect, for instance). Anyway, I don't need another foundation 😅
P.S.: my favourite SPF 50+ moisturiser is definitely the SkinCeuticals Ultra Facial UV defence
