Inside the Sagrada Familia

Visiting the Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona. Construction began in 1882 (135 years ago) and estimated completion is between 2026-2028. Basic ticket price is 15 €.

I have never seen such a wonderful, breathtaking building/church in my entire life! It was so amazing, that I had to cry, when I went inside! I can't describe that feeling, because I never felt like this before! That is really no exaggeration!

Wonderful and grotesque - that would be my opinion about that temple. It looks awesome - but also it seems I'm inside an Alien Xenomorph nest infested of other Aliens, and predator trying to hunt them inside. D:.

Wow. Just wow. I have never had the chance to travel, money always held me firmly rooted where I live. But, one day I really, really, really hope that I will be able to travel and see amazingly, stunningly beautiful places like this. Seeing it in a video makes me want to cry, I can't imagine what it would feel like to be there, looking up and seeing that! And the windows?! It's just breathtaking. Definitely going on my bucket list.

The pillars are designed to appear like trees in nature. I saw one video with the entire seating areas and balconies filled with choirs. Amazing! The organ is presently very minimal. But the "GREAT ORGAN" of Barcelona will be 4 organs played at one console.

I was there about 20 years ago when it was still a building site. They've really made good progress. The stained glass looks wonderful. Some aspects of the exterior don't quite match up to the Gaudi original, in my opinion, but overall it's a fantastic structure.

It’s not completed yet, there are still a lot of work to be done and even though the funding happens by different people and tourists that has no correlation with Vatican or Spanish Government they will use it as a church as soon its complete!!! Keep it for tourism there are enough places for god.
