- Lush interview on Alternative Nation with Kennedy on MTV 1996.
If you are an avid 120 Minutes fan and a trader/collector of actual episodes of the show, do please drop me a line. Although I have a fair number of shows, I am always looking for more to archive as many as possible, particularly from the Dave Kendall era.
If you recorded the show on VHS and still have your original video tapes but don’t have the capability of transferring to dvd and/or digital, I’d be more than happy to transfer them for you and send your original VHS back to you along with dvd and/or digital files.
It's still sad to see Chris and know that he would be gone only a few months later. Miki looks so happy.

Amazing how shy they all seemed to be. Miki was slightly less shy but more circumspect. Also, Miki, as always, was hotter than the sun!
Miki and Emma are so lovely. They deserve a medal for putting up with Kennedy...jeez.
I never watched MTV in the 90s. And the reason was Kennedy. I heard she became worse. Is that possible?

it wasn't a surprise to me, Kennedy has always been a disgusting human,, Mtv knew this and rarely let her offer her own opinions !!
LUSH was one of the best things about the 90s - and Kennedy was one of the absolute worst. How the hell she ended up on MTV still makes no sense at all. Ugh 😣
The whole time, I'm thinking "Wow that host is Sooo obnoxious ! and thinks she's sooo funny" Only to discover in the comments, that she's now on Fox...yep, figures...

That must have been Kennedy's doing. Thankfully, I didn't even recognize what it was, other than it seemed out of place.

The bands of the current millennium will never equal what we were spoilt with back then. Thankful that I was in my late teens/20s during the '90s to appreciate it whilst I was at Jr. College and Uni.

How in the world could MTV be concentrated shit back then when they had room for a band like Lush (and MBV, and Jesus and Mary Chain and Primal Scream and Throwing Muses and Cocteau Twins and so on) ? One may like or dislike their VJs, but the amount of bands they aired was enormous and regarding the project as you did I think is going too far.

Despite her politics, Kennedy was probably the best interviewer of Lush compared to Dave Kendall and Matt Pinfield, or any other interviewer of that time.

@@lostlanguag.es_ Yeah she must have dated him in the early nineties she has lotsa pictures and letters and stuff but she broke my heart and kinda destroyed me and this was decades later. Always kinda wondered because I've been in the psych ward a number of times and suffer from depreession too. She was young back then and even more beautiful. I live in California the timing is off for it to have been over her though but I hear "For Love" and think christ that sounds like my ex. Hahaha. Don't wanna say anymore and out her name I already feel pathetic enough, I just couldn't understand suicide over success it's not as if his career would've ended with them any way he was really good.
