- Hello and thanks for clicking in.
Spinning on the record player right now is side 2 / track 1 titled Surfer's Pajama Party from "The Original Surfer Stomp" by The Surf Stompers. From what I can see on the internet, this record was released in 1963.
I bought this record from our local thrift store. The album sounded okay but it had quite a few clicks/pops that I used software to remove as best I could.
Notice the song titles on the back of the cover compared to the labels on the album, they are reversed. There are also a couple songs that are missing a word.
Anyways, as usual, I gave the record a bath in my Ultrasonic Cleaner** that I modified for cleaning records.
Hardware & Software I use is listed at the end of this description, I get nothing from them, just letting you know what I use.
Thanks, and hope you enjoy this record from the past and maybe relive some memories.
Steve

Nothing fancy about the Hardware I use:
GLi Pro BD-1600 Turntable w/ Audio Technica cartridge
DAK 2800-PC Mixer
DIY Cork Platter Mat
Software I use:
DAK Industries ( www.dak.com ) Audio Workshop - Sometimes I use this to remove clicks & pops automatically if there are too many to remove manually. I also use this for track splitting & track labeling.
AVS4YOU ( www.avs4you.com ) Audio Editor - I use this to transfer the vinyl to a digital format, fade-in / fade-out, and to remove clicks and pops that Audio Workshop does not fix. I find this software is quicker than Audio Workshop for cleaning up the sound just a bit more.
VSDC ( www.videosoftdev.com ) Video Editor - I use this to make my videos.
GIMP (www.gimp.org) Image Manipulation - I use this to make my TH-cam thumbnail picture and for editing the pictures I use in the video.
