I've given this a good try and it adds a whole new level of immersion into the sim in terms of the traffic from FlightRadar24 that is very accurate in terms of "live" flights. On higher traffic settings within FSLTL itself your CPU performance is definitely impacted but I'm sure we'll be seeing optimisations in the future. The only thing to note is that traffic at gates/ramps is not live and instead relies on offline historic (but accurate) data.
I'm quite sure that also the gate/ramp traffic is live. I observed many aircraft getting pushed back, taxiing and departing. There are only very few "static" planes added to airports luckily. I'm really impressed with FSLTL :) Cheers mate!
Or do you mean that only airborne aircraft have live FR24 data? Yeah that might be the case... If ground aircraft use offline flightplans, I'm still fine with that :)
@@SimulationChannelDeluxe The version of FSLTL I was testing a few weeks back definitely didn't have live traffic at the gates/ramps but I see there is a new version which I have just downloaded and it has changed a bit since I first tried it so I guess "static" traffic is now live, I'll give it a go and see what else has changed as even with my Ryzen 9 3900X and the default FSLTL traffic settings the built-in FPS meter was indicating MSFS was " limited by main thread" - which is a first for me!!!

Does anyone have a issue with the planes not taxing over time, I have the sliders maxed... The gates are full but nothing really happens they should be rushing off somewhere I'd think
I'm thankful to have watched that episode of yours, while I'm acutally downloading the pack via F.B.W. Installer that I've had for couple of years, but only used to to keep my A320 FBW updated, or the Salty version of the 747. But this "FSLTL" package I wasn't aware of until today! while I was also checking out my Headwind versions that I got, when I discovered something else that was also new to me, even though I've flown my MSFS2020 over 1,5 million Nautical Miles, guess I've been too busy just flying these "Defaults Asobo" or Captan Sim 's airliners :( But I'm looking forward to see that new stuff will look like after I've downloaded all these variants. And since I'm such a addorer of the FlightRadar24 and has been for over an decate it's awesome if that new addonn really puts the correct airliner in it's correct gate or ramp
Yes FSLTL is really good, and it uses the FR24 data as good as it can. Of course it can't depict every single real world flight (as it would also tanker the FPS), and flights may appear some minutes later than irl. But it's defo awesome :) Thanks for watching!
I’ve installed base models only, I launched the sin and there are no airplanes, even after turning off an aircraft ground density to zero as instructed . Am I supposed to install something else?
Does anyone have issues with planes not injecting? I press enter on everything, it says live on msfs, says how many planes there are at the airport, but doesnt inject any live aircraft
Looks great! I tried it a few weeks back and it crashed MSFS for some reason. Uninstalled it and MSFS works fine. I will try it again but not had much time to reinstall FSTL and not much time with MSFS either!
When it comes to the “custom sounds” does that download come with the base models download? I’m trying to figure out if it comes with either the a32x download, base model, or injector download. Thank you.
Everything for the traffic (models, liveries, sounds) comes in the two download packages via the FBW Installer, as shown in the video. The A32NX flyable aircraft is seperate from it.
How do you get out of plane and hover over the airport? I've been using FSLTL for a few weeks now and have never seen an airplane taxiing or taking off, any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Maybe the traffic options are somehow messed up and IFR traffic is disabled with only static ac enabled. It's worth checking out the FSLTL settings there, even though by default IFR trtaffic is enabled. Hi captain, have you experienced massive frame rate upon landing with FSLTL? The traffic works really great but the sudden performance hit I get is definitely not good for landing experience.
By the way landing in LatinVFR's LEMD Madrid, so a demanding airport with LOTS of ground traffic. I might upload a video soon :) Do you have MSFS/FSLTL installed on an NVMe SSD?
@@SimulationChannelDeluxe yes, the MSFS and FSLTL are installed in a NVme SSD. No problem upon take off, I flew over London with lots of traffic and fps decreased but not much (60 to 45 or something). But when I was coming in to land in Birmingham (default) suddenly it turns into 5-10fps when in low altitude.
@@barry3974 Okay I understand. No idea what's causing it. Maybe RAM/VRAM filling up? I will do further flights and let you know when something similar happens to me.

Before and after new update I still have planes spinning in circles, lots of go arounds, landing planes are too slow to exit the runway. Does anyone else have this issue?
I don't own these addons and also didn't read anything about those in conjunction with FSLTL... maybe you can find out on their Discord. As FSLTL gets handled by the sim like the default traffic, maybe it will work, but I can't guarantee.

Try loading into an airport, and then start the injector and watch the airport get populated just like in this vid

but what if the traffic was 737 but i dont have pmdg addons ? will it still work ??

Hi Barry, sorry to hear that. Yesterday I did the first full flight with FSLTL in the PMDG B738 and I didn't experience any performance hit.

How do u make it so only Airlines u see in the US are the only liveries that spawn in?
When (addon) airports have a good ground layout, airlines will park realistically at their appropriate terminals.

Most of these are core issues in the ai system of MSFS and can't be fixed by FSLTL.
Does ATC Software (Pilot2ATC, ATC pro SR,...) interact with those aircrafts

FSLTL cant see no traffic on the tax nothing its not that good at all why lie in a vieo
