The final boss of the normal game has 6 shadows on his team. ;_; Well 7 including Lugia.
Greevis has all 3 legendary birds in his party when you fight him and they're shadow Pokemon.
seems like snattle, gorigan, ardos, and eldes in there final fights are weather teams

If memory serves, you get a wild scyther and then use the metal coat. I think it's like a stone evolution rather than trade

That's because this is a rom hack of Pokemon XD. It's basically a fan mod.
magnetone had some upgrades. sceptile i believe has the mega forms stats, ability, and typing

I remember playing this for the first time and got shiny treeco and it was amazing on my team and seeing the bad guys have shiny too is something unreal that makes it even cooler

Shadow Freeze looks hella annoying. This is why Freeze in the main series is relegated to RNG, because Freeze as a Status would be pretty overpowered otherwise. And to think the status used to be worse (as in more broken)

if i remember correctly regional forms and mega evolutions are in this hack but what about stat changes for mons that have final forms. like magneton having magnezone stats
No megas in this game, but there are 2 "regional forms", which are just recolored models. Pokemon with crossgen evolution do have increased stats. Dunno about mons with megas having increased stats though

Ah, I see they nerfed it. I remember a version where the blue guy had a Kyogre.
Yeah, that was the original version, back when your starters were Eevee and a Shiny Beldum. Now Kyogre is a Wild Boss Pokemon at Pokespots, along with the rest of the Weather Trio and the Legendary Beasts.

Okay before I download this I have but one question, is this romhack safe to download. As much as I would love to play a game that I loved since I was a kid I'm afraid if this will come with any virus's
If you download from a good website, yes. Just don't download a .exe file and you'll be fine
This has to be a hack. Fairy type didn't exist at the time of the game's release.
The only thing I don't like with the Alolan Ninetales is that it has Snow Warning instead of Snow Cloak and the Ability Pill/Capsule doesn't work on Ninetales.

Why didn't you use your Timer Ball once? I imagine you went back to save later to get the Shadowns that were defeated... but maybe using it, you could have got them in the same video.
The Timer Ball only gets its max effectiveness after 30 turns (4x catch rate). An Ultra Ball has a 2x catch rate, so it only starts to get on the same level as an Ultra Ball after 15 turns (I hope that's how it's calculated in game).
Also, all these battles are done seperately from my own playthrough. I make save states before each boss fight and come back later when I feel like recording them. Playing the already slow GameCube Pokemon games on speedup is amazing.
I frequently use Timer Balls in Gale of Darkness simply because these battles can take a while, it really isn't difficult for a battle to last at least 15 turns in this game.

Some of the animation choices make no sense. There was already a good animation for Rock Blast and Protect. They didn't need to change it
I have to say the attempt for alolan pokemon To be in this hack was completely unnecessary not to mention poorly done I personally think that they need to replace them perhaps bring shadow Mewtwo back or some thing
U do know it’s not easy to make a whole new model especially if u r a small team
Look I’m just saying they could’ve made it so you could capture all Pokémon from the third generation and before instead they chose to sacrifice some in favor of adding alternate forms
