The world of Steven Universe is full of surprises. Whether it’s hanging out in Beach City’s restaurants and carnivals or being in Little Homeworld to hang out with fellow gems. Many of the new gems from Gem Homeworld have chosen to live on Earth to live a peaceful life. Sadly though, there are some gems that have caused some trouble or broken several laws. So today, we’re heading to Beach City Court to determine who will get off easy and who should be shattered for eternity.

While I’m not the biggest fan of White Diamond’s character, I do like how huge she is. Along with her overall look, style and design.
This is basically part 2 of Sentencing Cartoon Network villains for their crimes. As bad as White Diamond's crimes are, they are not as awful as HIM's were. It seems like The Powerpuff Girls still faced one of the most evil and dangerous CN villains, as Steven's biggest threat was not as evil as HIM. White Diamond is at least lucky that her eternal life was spared, while HIM's actions has costed HIM his life.

It's better than the squid game one
Shattering is the only sentencing. These gems are kinda immortal as long as their gems is in tact! You can sentence them to 100 years and they can easily do that and we'd be long gone! 💀
Well all gems are actually eternal, pearl even stated that they don't die by age but they can still get hurt and die by Shattered of there gemstone, once that gem is Shattered that's it they're gone. So there are the big difference between eternal and immortal.
Especially to White diamond
But it looks like the crimes committed by the biggest offenders weren’t enough to give them a shatter sentence. As White Diamond will just spend the rest of her eternal life in prison. Also, since this is basically part 2 of sentencing Cartoon Network villains for their crimes, HIM is so far the only CN villain who was sentenced to death, as his villainous actions has costed HIM his life. While Steven faced his biggest enemy, she’s not as bad as the more evil CN villain that the Powerpuff Girls had to fight.

In steven universe future, steven accidentally shattered jasper and brought her back with all of the diamond liquid things.
Yellow diamond also revived some gems she did experiments on by finding all their shards in the different experiments and putting them back together

With that said, even the Diamonds actions were not as bad as the more evil CN villain, HIM. Since this is basically part 2 of sentencing Cartoon Network villains for their crimes, HIM is the only villain so far to be sentenced to death. White Diamond was lucky that her life was spared, considering she’s Steven's most dangerous foe, but even she can’t compare to the monster that the Powerpuff Girls had to face, as his villainous actions has costed HIM his life.

If Spinnel has 750 years in prison, It's a fair discount. This is an attempted destruction of a planet so would be 1,000 years, but I'll sentence Spinnel to 250 years in jail and 500 years of community service, mainly reabilitating her friendship.
The Diamonds destroyed the planets so They're 2,000 years each.
For abusing Pink Diamond AND and trying to convince her to attempt destruction of a planet, I sentence the Diamonds to refrain from seeing Pink Diamond again and 1500 years in prison for attempted destruction of Earth, twice.
Pink Diamond is abused by the diamonds, and that's understandable, so I sentence Pink to 100 years in prison and 300 years of Earth community service after that, mostly with humans, like she wanted. maybe that prison sentence will be reduced,
White Diamond would be sentenced to Eternal in Prison, but to be fair, she stopped mind controlling all of them way before the court, so I sentence her to 20,000 years of Galactic sized Community service with supervised watch.
Pearl wasn't mentioned for false Imprisonment of Lapis Lazuli for 5,000 years, so she gets 100 years in prison instead of 500 years.
Lapis dropped the world's ocean and would've been a massive tsuami, so she gets a month in prison and a month of community service as a fair break from false imprisonment, reducing Pearl's sentence.
Out of all of them, kifinosi has undoubtedly got to be the best one yet:)

The Diamonds definitely caused the most crime in the show especially White Diamond with her mind control. But for some reason the Diamonds redeemed themselves without punishment, that's not how it works you can't be forgiven easily when you caused a massive destruction.😕💎

Nicely done. That said, I reckon a plea could be made for Spinel to have her sentence commuted on the grounds of temporary insanity - her actions resulted from a psychotic break so severe that her physical form, personality and gem orientation were all radically altered. I argue that she can't be held 100% guilty for her subsequent deeds, given that she was not in her right mind and riding a rollercoaster of emotional damage. Perhaps instead of prison, she should be sentenced to court-mandated therapy.
As regards Emerald's actions against the Off-Colors, I suspect they can't be classified as crimes. Lars and the Off-Colors were openly pirates who had stolen a ship, and thus Emerald's efforts to track and capture them are thus lawful, our sympathies with the characters notwithstanding.
The definition of some (not all) of Pink/Rose's misdeeds as crimes might also be erroneously given that they occurred during a time of war.

you let lapis off pretty easy but you seem to have forgotten some of her other crimes like torture and destroying planets via terraforming just to name a few
Terraforming is the code installed to all lapis lazulis. This Lapis Lazuli admitted that she doesn't like to terraform in a SU Future episode. She can still use her water powers for art purposes and for gentle fun a lot which can be pardonable, but has comitted 2 crimes relative to the barn: Theft of the barn and destroying it, and 2 more crimes relative to Jasper: False Imprisonment and torture.

@@TheGoldNinja101 This Lapis used to cause destruction by terraforming. She only stopped liking it _after_ spending time on Earth with Steven and the Crystal Gems and actually learning the value of life and nature.

Since she has this forced programming from the diamonds, there's a chance that anyone with forced programming can be pardoned if they could rebel against their original programming and use their powers wisely and responsibly.
Since she was falsely imprisoned, Lapis would've already served her prison sentence by being trapped in a mirror and far overdue for release anyway. It's actually unfair for her to immediately be imprisoned for another thousand years for what she did BEFORE she's been put in the Mirror
Fair Charges:
* Ocean Theft - Reasonable and returned after being healed to fly - massively reduced sentence
* Attempted Murder ×3 - Victims: Steven, Connie, and Greg - Reasonably for self defense - 7 months at minimum in total, as all seems to have forgiven her. 3 months per child.
* Property Damage - Damaged: Greg's van - 1 month
* Tsuamic Charge - Pardoned because Lapis is gentle before she actually left.
* Torturing Jasper - In Court, the Judge highly sees it as highly Justifiable. - Jasper has child abuse, assault ×4 (Garnet is ×2 because Ruby and Sapphire) in record, so Jasper will be charged with false Imprisonment ×1 (Victim: Steven), attempted murder ×5, and threatening Lapis just to fuse - No charges for Lapis.
* Threats - In SU Future, Since she was in Jasper state in self defense, she refused to murder due to her emotional choices. It's also Questionable, but Justifiable - Victims: Freckled Lapis, Mean Lapis - No charges
Charges for Freckled Lapis: Community Service - To attend to school
Charges for Mean Lapis: 250 years in prison or Community Service - To attend to school.
Charges for Steven:
* Mind control ×4 - Victims: Lars, 3 watermelon Stevens - 1 month of prison + Watermelon Community Service
* Property destruction ×9+ - Destroyed: Hospital Room, Greg's Van, The Reef, Graduation Stage, Peridot's greenhouse, Bismuth's anvil, Baseball zone (+), and 3 Diamond Ships - Since he couldn't control that power completely, the charge would be 10+ weeks of emotional therapy.
* Breaking and entering - Since Steven is honest about writing a note but never got to, 1 month in prison.
* Shattering - Victim: Jasper - 1 year of therapy as he seemed half emotionally corrupted.
* Attempted Shattering - Victim: White Diamond - 3 months of therapy
Jasper was like a soldier who put his life on the line to avenge his queen.

@jadenbunch6547 Exactly. The idea that Steven "forgave" the Dimonds is a common misconception. He even fantasized about SHATTERING White in particular.
For yellow she also technically killed Steven by stepping on him and so we saw him as a ghost and talked to them he did come back but he was dead
Well technically, Yellow made Steven lose conscious and he was able to discover a new power since he was able to use his shield in time. He wasn't technically dead, it was more of a psychic power.
He was only knocked unconscious.

We have to remember that even these two Diamond ladies were not as bad as the literal demon that the Powerpuff Girls had to face. HIM's actions has costed HIM his life, while Yellow just spends a 1,000 years in the slammer, and White will spend the rest of eternity in the slammer.

Bismuth actually has 2 cases of attempted murder, that we know of:
You already got the steven one, but Bismuth punching Lapis square in the back where her gem was could also be seen as an attempted shattering.
Yeah... normal jail is not going to cut it they all need to be sent to SUPER JAIL.
To make a jail for gems...
1. There has to be an obvious alliance between the court and the gems.
2. Some gems knows how to make schematics of the gem version of jail.
3. Gem prisons usually would be in skyscraper form.
4. A human gem hybrid prison requires gems and humans to operate.
