Sump well worth it, the drilling the tank part pain in the ass an pushing against the sending unit also a pain in the ass. I had my sump under the sending unit.

Hey Denny, you are thinking about pulling the plug out of the black sump and use a punch to mark the stainless piece and match the pipe threads and use a longer bolt.
Pipe threads are different than machine threads...there is no matching threads from pipe to machine...possibly you can drill out the 1/4" pipe plug, and drill out to a larger pipe thread to 3/8" or 1/2" pipe thread for future draining. If you decide to use pipe tap, only run tap 2/3rds to 3/4 of the tap, and have a fitting to check depth of pipe threads 3 to 3 and a half turns for correct pipe thread seal. I enjoy your videos!!!
