In my opinion my chassis was too far gone for this to really save it. New chassis next year. But if your chassis is good enough, then I would 100% recommend their services
Best thing you can do to your chassis. Horrible job to do tho 🤣🤣. Mine was done in the early stages of its life but was starting to flake off and trap water in so just had to strip it all off and do it again. Must admit where it had been done properly the factory paint was still shiny so thats proof it works!
@@BorisTheDefenderHow do you know? I challenge you to look behind any of the chassis attachments such as the rear shock absorber mounts. Look behind that horrible welded overplating. Put a borescope down the chassis members. The trouble is that these cosmetic rustproofing jobs cover up what's going on underneath.
@@cooolsimon282 Sounds like alot but I guess it's a fair amount of work and the materials aren't that cheap. I just did my own car today using some dinitrol I've had on the shelf for 15 years!
You are quite correct. I did a long post on the multiple flaws in the treatment. I guess the dude behind this channel didn"t like it and removed the post. What I don't like is that this terrible rustproofing job, which covers up the underlying corrosion, is held up as an example of how to do it.
@@defendermodsandtravels I would be interested in hearing your take on it. Im about to buy a Freelander which had an advisory for underside rust on its last MOT. I want to get it properly sorted as it's only done 60,000 miles so would be a shame for rust to kill it long before it's time.
So three years on… still happy with it? Do you reapply seasonally, or just the one time?
Looks really great 👍
Better treatment than Before and after i would say.
Wow, just contacted them myself as only in Salisbury. Thank you.
How so many places get away with welding like that I’d never know
‘Nice welding work’ lollololol
Did they do inside the chassis?
Hows it holding upo four years later? Im thinking aboiut getting my Freelander done.

I love the colour of your car. Can I ask what colour that is ??
Of course :) it’s Arles blue. Or windjammer blue
What kind of costs involved?, looks great tho
interested to know too :)
Comparable places charge £600-700 from what I see
Why can you not just say how much it cost you ???
I just paid £957 for my Mitsubishi Evo 6 to get done at SWRP, with no repairs. Only the treatment
where did you get the pressed rear number plate?
Looks amazing but what was the cost?
Price varies. Best to look on their site
@@BorisTheDefender share your price so pecan get an idea absolutely pointless vid

Ehh, I'll stick to lanolin-based products, hard coatings can more often than not make things much worse.
real shame they can only treat full cars not at the chassis stage
Boris👌
But Defender still keep on rotting like nothing else sadly.
