i have ddr4 8gb x4 xmp 3200 with this motherboard and i7 5960x, when i set 2400 mhz its often doesn't boot, stuck at b7 post code, but when boot its dont have any memory errors, my timings are ok, when i use 2133 everything booting fine
Hello. How did you overcome TDP limitation on this motherboard? I saw you comenting on Craft Computing's channel who failed to overclock 1660 V3 because of TDP. YOUR CPU SEEMS TO BE HOLDING 4.2 GHZ. I have the same bios on my Kllisre x99 d8 mobo. I wonder if I should buy 1660 v3 and try to overclock it or stay with 2678 v3 with turboboost unlock.
I used intel xtu in this video. But have later romoved the current limit with a bios mod. I threw a massage on craft computings video to explain how i did👍😄
Here is my massage: EASY! SOLVED! Edit bios with amibcp5 - advanced PM tune - program PP0_curt_cfg_ctrk_msr. Set all under this to access/use to USER. Then you have acces - flash bios - then go to bios. Set PP current_cfg_ctl Ovrd to MANUAL then set Current Config to Enable then set Current Limitation to 2048.... Then Blow up VRM ... Or set watt limit to about 220 watt(long and short) in SOCKT RAPL Config -- please do this :).. And please do a shout out :) Have fun.

Thermalright Macho Rev.B, It get to 80c under full load(avx2) with 4.2ghz 1.19v and around 70 with 4ghz 1.09v.

Do you know if I can do overclock in 1660v3 with Huananzhi x99 F8
You can, but you are limited to 150watt if you dont unlock the bios or use intel xtu.
hey i am wondering is overclocking already enabled on these huananzhi motherboards ?
it was on mine. but only xeons that can overclock is 1650 1660 1680 v3.
