- G'day Fisho's, This week I head offshore and target a few pelagics by trolling with baits. I was lucky enough to score some glamour conditions and with some prime rigged baits swimming seductively behind the boat it isn't long before a reel start screaming! Hope you enjoy the episode!

Your fishing styles remind me a lot of old school fishing, like these trolling rigs and the way you beach fish is the way they fished 50 years ago and worked so well 😄 absolutely love seeing them in action

Love this channel. Fishing is somehting i just do active the last 5 years, i am 35 years old now. I was on a holiday in Australia and my friend who i was traveling with wanted to fish. I sayed, ok, lets do it, not care a bunch, because it seems boring. So, we where in this fihsingboat with 1 dude from U.S.A., 2 from The Netherlands and 2 from Thailand. We had the best day ever together, so much fun. 7 people, all from other sites of the world, but it was like we knew eachother a 100 year after that trip. We are still friends now and as soon this corona shit is gone, we all go to Thailand and go fishing there, because for them its all a bit to exspensive to fly to Europe or the States. Really looking forward to that. Fishing for me changed my life, its awesome. This video just shows how much fun you can have. i just found this channel, i sub!

Over the years picked up heaps of Head Starts from bargain bins but maybe not the last 8-10years or more. I like them a lot. Few tricks I do are cut the gal hook off with side cutters and put a split ring to SL12 Gamakatsu or BKK Kajiki. The surface rig I cut the wings off with a saw then I can slide an octopus skirt over the top or similar for a skipping rig.
Yeah nice mate! I change the hooks out as well. The one they come with isn’t great! Not a bad idea for the skipping gar! Cheers 🍻🍻

G’day Sammy, love the channel, quick question about the poddy mullet’s I’ve been getting a few on the cast net as well just not sure of the difference between sea mullet and sand mullet and what’s legal in Queensland.The fisheries isn’t really clear on what’s the difference either any help would be greatly appreciated regards Mick.

if its a hard body lure around 4 knots is its a skirted lured around 6 knots

Why so troll that fast?
Its great fun, but here in croatia it can only be a very expensive hobby, cant live from it. Pelagic fish such as bluefin tuna goes here for 6 euros a kilo. Its criminal how cheap it is. Bassically, two 50 kilos tuna isnt even enough to cover the expense. People who troll here usually live from state help and stimulus, going offshore only in seasons. But thousands of people troll for all kind of breams and snappers wich are 35 euros a kilo haha. Tho, its nowhere near fun as pelagic trolling, as you troll between 1 and 2 knots.
