Here, I share my FAVORITE crossbody bag from Madewell (and it is indeed, made well 😂). This is the best crossbody bag under $200 that I've ever come across. The vegetable tanned leather has only gotten more beautiful with patina over time and I just love how it looks and feels. 💗 Watch to see how it pairs with so many different outfits!! 👀

Madewell medium transport tote. I have two of them. Brown and navy. I love that they get really soft over time and I can build character to my bags and not have to baby them. 😀
My workhorse bag is the Longchamp le pliage tote in the small size. I have it in Black with the brown handles. I love it because it’s easy to clean and weather resistant due to the nylon material.
I like your videos because you focus on great and practical bags, not just luxury bags. Your voice is also so calm and relaxed... so nice to listen to! I've been tempted to get Madewell bags, but I think their scratch-prone leather would bother me. Fossil gives the same look, but without the scratches.

I don't like most big totes either because they're so floppy. I love the one I have from Rebecca Minkoff because it's very stiff and stands upright on its own~
Great video! I am a huge fan of Madewell Totes and have several sizes and versions that I use for work on a daily basis! The leather gets softer over time and bears the scars of my use, and only makes it better!

Hiii , based on this review, I got the same bag with the ziptop! Nordstrom has it on the website, i was like this is soooo perfect for me! I didn’t know this mini version has a ziptop version now!
The one at Nordstrom isn't the same size.. That one is 9" length and width whereas this one is 7" length and width.
I love the color! I love Frye bags for the beautiful supple leather their bags are known for. I have a leather bag in this color from Frye and I absolutely love it. If you haven’t tried Frye and you love leather... check Frye out!
i also have this bag, but in black, and it's fantastic. i bought it to decide whether the size would work and then considered getting a higher end version (similarly sized luggage tote perhaps). however, i love it exactly as it is and now have no need to buy anything else. i live in the city and walk my kids to and from their school (when school was in session) and this is so easy to wear to get them. it holds my compact wallet, key cles, sunglasses, reuseable shopping bags, and a little longchamp coin purse for chapstick, mints, floss, ibuprofen. it's lightweight and looks great cross body over bulkier coats. great video
oh oops! theres more! i also have that exact larger bag (medium tote?) and it is also too big for my frame crossbody. however, i love it as a tote-- usually totes are too big, but this one works well bc there is room for scarves or gloves when going inside on a cold day. ok now to watch the video to the end!

I have both of those bags and I totally agree with you! The mini is so well made and the medium is not. The depth is too wide and it loses its shape and has an elongated shape when carried. The leather is finer and better quality on the mini.

I love my vintage city coach bag. I wear it eveytime i dont know which bag to use.😂 I am not really into brands, as long as I like how it looks and feel. 😊 aside from Coach, i love fossil bags. I just think that they’re so underrated.

Really appreciated this video. You've inspired me to check it out. I'm getting into smaller bags more and more and hoping to build up that part of my handbag collection more (and sell a few things I'm not using). I purchased a small tassel bag from Cuyana late this summer. It was $150. It's very cute; however, I haven't used it as much as I thought I would--so need to remember that bag more. I'm finding I like bags on opposite ends of the spectrum. I need a large tote for work because I often bring home my laptop; however, I don't like something too cumbersome and heavy for weekends, which is why smaller bags appeal to me more now. Anyway, thanks for the video and for the inspiration to check out this bag. I look forward to your next video!

Can the small tote me used as an over the shoulder bag?
The straps on the small one are too short to wear on the shoulder, unless you don't mind it being right up against your armpit... LOL. The larger version would be more comfortable as a shoulder bag. Hope this helps!

Hello, I’m new to your channel and love you so much. I have a question Which bag do you recommend madewell small tote or coach Cassie 19? I like both but can’t make up my mind. They are both in sale so I wanted to get your opinion. Thank!
Ami Hi, welcome to my channel! 💕 Oh dear, that’s a tough question to answer! I really like both bags, but if I could only recommend one, I would say go for the Cassie 19. The Cassie 19 has a more secure closure with the turnlock so you can travel with it (whereas the Madewell is wipe open and items can fall out if it tips over). The Cassie 19 comes with 3 different straps so it feels like you’re almost getting 3 different bags in one. You can play around with it - dress it up and down. The Madewell is super cute and easy but not quite as versatile as the Cassie 19. The leathers are very different - Madewell has buttery smooth leather while the Cassie 19 has pebbled leather. So that’s a personal preference. Hope this was helpful!! Let me know what you decide dear! 😉

Well, I thought the madewell small tote is now 30 % off but it is excluded from the sales 😢 On the other hand, Coach is still having 30% off sales so that might be the way to do it.
