I have an Afrocentric-Modern styled home and people never understand what I'm saying till they see it. Lots of texture, browns and blacks, wood mixed with metal, gold accents, touches of white here and there, African artwork and photography. All around beautiful and badass just like us 😜

I see this is 2yrs ago. It's 4/23/23 If u still have it Paint ur kitchen table with a Matt chalk paint. & the pictures, I luv them. Hang them some place else. I luv ur decor ur on the right track. Blessings 🙏🏾💜
Beautiful!💕 and you gave a perfect description 'Afo Boho' because 'Boho' Decor is a Decor that many travelers has borrowed from many indigeous ppl of various countries cultures. They had traveled embracing as well as incorparating cultural artifacts from many indigeous cultures and countries. I love what you are manifesting here. However when I had African home design Decor is literally what I rightfully called lt African Decor. Bamboo African artifacts of all sorts mask statues vibrant bright colors of African textile prints/ material etcetera.

Really nice work there. My living room is a Afro-Caribbean theme with bright colors and African pieces I got when I was in Africa years ago. Love to see how people design their places.

This was great! The legs on the shelving unit actually sparked an idea for me to use one to make a couch! I could attach plywood to one side, add some wood blocks to attach the legs (and longer pieces in the center for extra support) and hinge another sheet of plywood to the top so I can still use the storage inside! Thanks for the inspiration!

TH-cam gave this video to me, and I am grateful! This is the first boho type makeover that has me rethinking my decor entirely. (I’m partial to bright colors.) Get some double sided carpet tape for your rug to keep it from bunching. Nice job! I just subscribed because I have been searching for BlPOC DIYers. Can’t wait to see what I’ve missed!
