I did the same exact thing for my ribbon many years ago, but on a smaller scale. For my flowers I had a friend build me a triangle wood frame with chicken wire on the inside. It works great! You have so many amazing storage systems! Absolutely loved your tour!!💗

I used to use an over the door shoe rack for my ribbon storage and I loved it because it saved me so much floor space .

You can say that again, and again, and again! Beginning to think it is not hard, but impossible!!!
The Ryobi system now includes cordless glue guns (compact and large versions) and a cordless rotary tool (like the Dremel). All use the same battery as the drill. Definitely great for keeping cords out of your way. Even better for portability - take the tool where you need it!

I’m lookin for sufficient storage for my ribbon right now, my crafting space is in a garage/summer kitchen is what they call it 🤷🏻♀️ it’s dusty and old so I’m on the hunt for something that can keep my ribbons in one place is my biggest priority and also keep them clean….I don’t keep many flowers but I do have a bunch that I store upright in LARGE wicker basket it actually stores quite a bit and I haven’t had problems yet! The flower tower is amazing! It is a difficult situation when you have them in open tubs. They can't be stacked, so this will help clear up so much space! Thanks for sharing!
You could use cattle panels to make an inexpensive tower.

I have lots of ribbon and hate having to take a bunch off the dowels to replace ones in the middle. I ended up finding a tutorial on Pinterst and had hubby make me the shelf unit, which uses trim on the front of the shelves. No more dowels and was not expensive to make. Love it!
I wish I had as much room for crafting, that would be amazing!

Your storage from container store reminds me of the tool container I use in my classroom from Home Depot. Going to Harbor freight to get one for my craft room. Duh moment
Love that flower storage! Don’t know where I would put it, but I will be thinking. Also love the ribbon storage. I think I have an old one in the basement, I’ll think i’ll look for it. It would be great to have different holiday storage together and then check, stripes,dots and solids! I think It will take some rejigging but I think I can make it work! TFS!

I love all these ideas! Some of organization things have my jaw hitting the floor. Cuz I'm loving it. Lol On the heat gun... I did NOT know about the plastic cover for the end! I wish I had known! Cuz I still have a mark where mine burnt me over a month ago. The heat gun had been off for over an hour, but it was still sooo hot. Now, I'm on a mission to find a proper heat gun. TY HEIDI!
I have several of the items you have. But you have done that I want to get. I don't have a craft room. I work in my living room. We live in a semi small apartment and I have no place else to craft so obviously I can't get the cabinets and the desk but when we get a house this will be my blue print. Thanks for sharing.

Shoe racks hold gatorade and bottles of pop and water perfectly too btw peeps. Walmart or ikea basic cheap shoe rack.

I have so many of your same organizing products but my fav is the Shoe rack converted to ribbon holder ...I got 2 of them from Aldi's for around $15 I already had them and saw your video a few years back and wax like YESSSS so I converted 1 of them for ribbon

You don’t have to unscrew your shoe rack. Just take a box cutter and cut off the old rolls.
I think we can assume that new rolls are being added at the same time.
She did say that she leaves the empty rolls on there for a while before switching the rolls out so cutting them off would definitely make it look better while she waits to add the new ones on!

I'm like you, I love IKEA storage stuff. Lately I have gotten some carts from Michael's, but the shoe rack for the ribbons is a great idea. I guess it would work for vinyl rolls for the Cricut machines. I don't have a craft room as I live in a very small apartment, but I'm always looking for storage items to keep my tools and supplies in a place where I can find them and access them when I need it.

So many practical ideas! Thanks for sharing them. My favorite is the box for wipes. I hate having those packets that get so floppy after I’ve used a few. My old boxes don’t fit the new packets; I never thought of looking in the baby section. Thanks for thinking inside of the box!

Thank you Jessica and yes, her surgery went so well and she is taking it slow. She has 6 kids to love on her and we are all making sure she is taking it easy. I am a new subbie.. I love my favorite things info. I too am an IKEA fan, I have plenty of the Alex and bins and Billy book cases. I like to see my things so it is easier for me to see things with book shelves. Of course Billy to the rescue, I have two tall Alex and two short wide ones.. your planning your room is amazing . thank you for sharing.

Heidi, thank you for the wonderful ideas, I wish I had seen this before I spent a lot of money on a really expensive unit, which I will not name. It’s beautiful, but I know I could have put together a beautiful craft room for a quarter of the cost. You have done a fantastic job!♥️🙏🏻
I know what you're talking about... there's a hack with Billy bookcases and shelving, a pull-down table, crown molding, and overhead light.. brackets and slides to close it up and open like 2 units each side to the main middle part. Closes up just the same as the other rip-off unit.

I have 7 of these shoe racks for some of my ribbon. I have mostly 10,25,or 50 yard rolls, so it’s sits on the horizontal shelf shelves. Love them! A big plus they roll. ❤️

This was right on time for me ! I'm in the process of painting my entire house.. including my art room ... a small bedroom I have changed over for my craft room. I already have cabinets on 1 wall top and bottom. With a very nice 4 inch thick peice of wood as my counter top . So on the other wall I'm going to put wood shelves and they will be open shelves. So I was needing ideas of what to use to store my things that would look good too !!!! Thanks for everything you do !!!! BTW.... How is your mom doing ????

You can make a ribbon rack pretty cheap. Use dowel rods,zip ties and any kind of wire rack.

I love, love that green leaf ribbon! Where did you find that?😊 I have my craft room in our basement. I took advantage of the exposed 2x4's, I added shelves & used yard sticks for the fronts to store my ribbon. I love it.😁❤️ I like Ikea pax system too! Every item that I have ever tried to order an item from Ikea, it is sold out! It is frustrating! My Ikea is 2 1/2 hours away! I used lattice for my floral. My husband & I used the exposed 2x4's again & and nailed it in. It works out amazingly!😊❤️ I have taken advantage of every inch of my space that I can!LOL
I also have taken advantage of the 2 doors that go to my craft room by adding over the door spice racks to store my paint. I have that same paint brush w/ the big handle. For my flowers I did something similar. I took 3 6' long wire shelves from Lowe's and wire tied them together into a triangle like you did. Then I just shove the flowers in the grooves of the shelves. No need for the wire ties to hold the flowers.
