In SF6 you just straight up can't corner yourself if you've got the opponent in the corner already and they stood up. You'd have to backthrow them or use a special move.

You cant really cross up if they are cornered anymore so really that was just kinda fake tricky
It’s a safe jump, the real mix was either Jimmy was gonna jump-in or empty-jump low
@@FutureSanik you don't need the corner for that. All of this was the same in sf5 and you could achieve anywhere on the screen.
People just didn't go for them because they needed insanely good timing
