- Swimming with Sharks, it's been on the bucket list all year, and now that we are finally down in Invercargill it's time to tick it off!
Bluff, a small town way down the bottom of the South Island is one of the only places you can swim with Sharks in New Zealand, and one of a handful of places in the world you can swim with the Great Whites!!
Join us in this video as we jump on the Shark Experience boat, head out into the Foveaux Strait, and swim with the Great Whites 🦈

@@AdventuresWithRosy to make Southland cheese rolls Lyndelle says its like making onion dip, instead you use evaporated milk with the Maggi onion dip, you can then add your own cheese and diced onions if you want. Bring this to the boil in a pot, stirring constantly then roll them in your bread, we use the panini press

What a great experience. I've done a lot of diving, only seen small sharks. Seeing one of those outside the cage would be a bit of a fright! Awesome being able to spend that much time just enjoying them, and having the sharks hanging around calmly.
Yeh it was really fun just sitting in the cage watching them swim by, could have stayed in the cage all day if the water wasn’t so cold haha! I’d been keen to try some diving sometime, maybe somewhere warmer 😅
Dude that was cool... I'd be facing a pretty big fear to do that... I love swimming and snorkelling but Deep water freaks me out.
Yeh it wasn’t super deep, we could see the bottom but yeh was a bit nerve wracking to start with 😬
The husband and my oldest did this just before you, they said it was an amazing experience 🦈

i have a question im allergic to wasps and am hoping to visit and i read that there are a lot of them in NZ haven't heard you talk about it is it not as bad as they say?
Good question, you do see a few of them out and about in our bush, there has a been a big push recently to try and get rid of them with poison etc. we have not been stung/bitten in the last year of travels though 👍
