Thumb on the third fret 6th string and pinkie on sixth fret first string. It's impossible for people that have non flexible fingers to reach both frets with regular hand position, so he did that to reach both of them
Yeah. I used to do similar when I was alot younger. I'd express the word bang and contentment through beating a pot with a wooden spoon in the kitchen. I should've stuck with that, got a bit rusty with age but can still nock out a tune if I had to. Never tried guitar but raw talent is raw talent eh
Epi Agunla If the string vibration frequency or any of its harmonics are near the frame rate of the video, the string will appear to vibrate slow enough to look spectacular.

not that common, because it is somewhat awkward; I recommend you watch that one popular acoustic cover of "sons of skyrim" the guy brings that to good use there :)
Das Erdmännchen very awkward when one isn't familiar with it. it just took me by surprise here, but there'll always be notes that have to be reached using unorthodox technique lol. thanks for the suggestion, will look it up
azpxocivuBermudaGuitarist825 It is not all to often that you "have" to use this thing, because most of the time you can just reach 5 frets higher on another string way more comfortable
Das Erdmännchen I agree with you.. there are always ways to play something much easily.. but in this case, I think Mr Acoustic Trench was going for either a tonality aspect, or all the other notes were more conveniently reachable, so he had to use his thumb to complete it lol. it all depends on the person
Honestly I would listen to this for hours on end listening to you play give so much relaxation that everything is good there is no stress I need a 10 hour loop of this

With all the songs on the Internet, you can really forget what it’s like to actually have someone playing in front of you, thanks for bringing back that feeling.
Rest in peace maple, this video got me my first date in high-school, and it helped me calmed down and find peace when I was stressed, we love you maple and trench
This piece reminds me of the man i loved .. he used to play it for me when we have an argument .. now we went on separate paths .. and this video reminded me of our times together .. after all of this time this music still hits hard , thank you for bringing back the lovely feeling
Nice playing ❤️
This is black magic.
exactly
No, smith chart is
Godlike powers cursed these man’s fingers and the dog’s ears...
That mid string swing so good it feels like my teenage mood
dog will never dance again....
Jonas Steinberg the dog looks drugged listening to the guitar lol
Her names maple 😭🖤
XD
Guilty paws have got no rhythm
😂😂😂 🤣 🤣😂 nice one
0:32 what the hell just happened??? I’ve...never seen anyone do that. Ever.
Thumb on the third fret 6th string and pinkie on sixth fret first string. It's impossible for people that have non flexible fingers to reach both frets with regular hand position, so he did that to reach both of them
see tuck andress ;)

What a brilliant fingerstyle song.
How can someone dislikes it?
For 1 minute and 52 seconds, everything was ok.
For real tho
really helped to forget the crap the world is in
You can just watch again and again and again...
Igor Machado it’s not the same...
man you make me want to give you a hug, and i dont even know you
Crazy, it is, how much emotions and words can be expressed through a wooden object.
Tru tho
Yeah. I used to do similar when I was alot younger. I'd express the word bang and contentment through beating a pot with a wooden spoon in the kitchen. I should've stuck with that, got a bit rusty with age but can still nock out a tune if I had to. Never tried guitar but raw talent is raw talent eh
The strings are not wood. So this is a unrepresentative comparison.
One of the world's most skilled guitarists: one-man band, playing primary guitar, rhythm and accompaniment simultaneously.
Calm down 😂😂
after 7 years im back again ❤🩹
How many girls do you get?
AcousticTrench : Yes
Not a number

You will never FORGIVE the love she inspired in you? Very taboo, indeed.

@@marblemadness8870 If you understand the man, u understand it. Of course, some people may mistaken words if they’re not native.
loved how you can see the strings vibrate.
Epi Agunla If the string vibration frequency or any of its harmonics are near the frame rate of the video, the string will appear to vibrate slow enough to look spectacular.
bj0rn just like helicopter wings
Epi Agunla amazing
this performance deservers a few million likes c'mon
the doge never borks tis a good pupper
That's not a doge, you filthy uncultured punk.
Type properly you muppet

The waves the strings make are mesmerizing!
I love how his strings waves along with the music
Maple got to enjoy these songs, its practice sections, recordings and rifts. You can tell the dog was soothed when these executed correctly.
RIP. Lost but never forgotten.
I just love this guy’s music, his way of playing , and of course, his beautiful dog.

Alex Alex maple is chill, shush.
List
Alex Alex , I haven't seen any dog before u told it lol. I was distracted by his fingers and music so much.
The guitar sings better than 97% of the people here.
1000% true.
Listen here😂😫
No shit, it’s a fretted instrument with nearly perfect intonation lol
I’ve actually taken about 6 years of vocal lessons and can tell you you’re absolutely right.
So what, it's an instrument made specifically to make music...
thumb used on the fretboard @0:30 😂😂 first time seeing that ever..
not that common, because it is somewhat awkward; I recommend you watch that one popular acoustic cover of "sons of skyrim" the guy brings that to good use there :)
Stěpán Rak did it first in his classical composition Balalaika.
The dream of every guitar is to be touched like this
Honestly I would listen to this for hours on end listening to you play give so much relaxation that everything is good there is no stress I need a 10 hour loop of this
Hands down this one is the best cover of this song that I've heard so far (and I've heard many, cause I love this song).....respect nothing but respect. God blessed you with an amazing talent brother, keep making that awesome sound. Peace.
alexander misko's did the best cover of this song
This cover is still the best. Misko made great cover, but he showed just his skill, nothing else.
yo roman, big agree dude..i feel the emotion in this cover..alex misco doing great and perfect..but i dunno, something miss..
you know the content is so qualified when the most played part is the first seconds.
Ok, I'm tripping out. It looks like the hands and guitar are animated... To me it looks like gta cutscenes.
Same😅
24fps
omg I can't unsee it now
I thought I was the only one lmao
Last of us 2
Much love and respect to you Maple you will be missed broke my heart knowing your gone
