I would ask for this but only if my strings do not snaps that easily after I tuned it down! =_= (ps:i was not joking lol, i can play 3 cover songs by Marcin)
Every talent in the world requires extreme dedication, practice, and hard work... but some people are just born with something else most others dont have.
There are many professionals who do it often. And he's tuning it so easily cause there are banjo pegs on his guitar (and machines for microtuning from violin). Banjo pegs can do fixation of tuning with two bolts. That's all the secret.
Sir, I wish you the highest compliments on your technique, arrangements, and emotional interpretation. I just rushed to Amazon to purchase both of your CDs. I wish you a long and lucrative career, and I hope someday I will be able to see you in person in the USA.
The dedication this takes! He even has one single long fingernail on his hand to help him play! This is crazy dedication to master the guitar like this
He is using loop pedal. Not that it's less of a performance but technically there are prerecorded loops (knocking and a melody) playing through the song making it sound like he's playing multiple parts same time.
@@TechTinkerWorks In very few of his videos, yes..in live recording..and we can see the equipment..but not in this song..if you know how to play guitar and are at a certain level..
It is impressive, and very cool and expressive, although certainly not even close to a new thing. Banjo players have been doing it for around a century. It is done by using tuners that have the ability to have stops set at certain intervals, which literally stop the tuner from turning at two different points for accuracy and ease. The result is an added level of expression we commonly don't see on guitar, but it still is extremely common in the banjo world.
Hi Alexandr, just discovered this video. My first thought was that you must be a Candyrat artist... and then I read Candyrat's comment. :) All the best for your future career, this is really unusual and beautiful.
The little harmonics the Rhythm the overall Style and using the tuners in such a unique and marvelous way, it's all amazing. It honestly sounds like two guitars at some points.
For the non guitar players, no ofense. I know that the tunning change mid-song is outstanding and impressive, not shunning it is amazing for sure, but the absolutelly hard and impressive skill is the artificial harmonics he does so smoothly. These are some SERIOUSLY difficult to execute, any guitar player would agree with me. This guy is absolutely amazing!
I mean artificial harmonics can be difficult to get down at first but the tuning thing definitely blew me away more he had to be so precise with his turns other wise it would sound out of tune
Isnt the harmonic that he played only need to use your middle finger, index finger and pluck the string at the 12th fret from the fret that is pressed on the neck? Its fairly easy i think
Apart from the brilliant harmonizations, changing key tunes to get different notes from a single strike, while adding percussion. Respect. I’ll be buying your music. Keep it coming!

Dear guitar. I'm sorry. Life is too short to be with someone who doesn't love you right. You deserve better. All these years I've tried but you've never felt what Alexandr's does. But remember even they fight sometimes. Things aren't always this perfect. Besides, he's a star, he has Teardrops, Gibsons and Martins crushing after him. You'd never stand a chance with him. So stay. I beg. But if the beauty you just heard has ceased your peace like it has mine, then I don't blame you... Just leave the lights on and don't bang the door when you leave.

''Never gonna dance again... Nor, pick up my guitar again'' - Outrageous guitar playing!
Just lying here in complete awe thinking about how mind blowing human capability, intelligence, beauty and creativity is. The precision and perfection of every note and beat of Alex's guitar playing makes my brain light up with joy and feel immense respect and gratitude towards the universe ❤🥲
Hope everyone has a beautiful day 🙏🏻😊❤️
I hope your day is terrible.
Very well put!
❤
This has blown my mind. His ability to tune his guitar while playing without any slip ups or off notes what so ever is crazy!!! His precision is bar none. Fan for life now. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The guitar sings, it weeps, it cries in glory, and absolutely dances in beauty
this is like the forming of the universe. i don't know wtf is happening but it makes sense and it's beautiful
Simply 🙀 he’s a master of the instrument, best cover of “ careless whisper “
Finally a place where no one asks for Tabs
Even tabs seems impossible for others😆😆
I would ask for this but only if my strings do not snaps that easily after I tuned it down! =_= (ps:i was not joking lol, i can play 3 cover songs by Marcin)
Do you have tabs
LOL No kidding eh! 😂
Cause no one even dares to ask😅
Every talent in the world requires extreme dedication, practice, and hard work... but some people are just born with something else most others dont have.
Ive never seen anyone change the string tension while playing to imitate a whammy bar like that. Absolute genius.
th-cam.com/video/gd4uVwxsSHk/w-d-xo.html
Those are actually special tuners that have stops on them. It doesn't make it any less amazing though.
@Downhill Nut You're very welcome.
There are many professionals who do it often. And he's tuning it so easily cause there are banjo pegs on his guitar (and machines for microtuning from violin). Banjo pegs can do fixation of tuning with two bolts. That's all the secret.
Adrian Legg does it too.
Sir, I wish you the highest compliments on your technique, arrangements, and emotional interpretation. I just rushed to Amazon to purchase both of your CDs. I wish you a long and lucrative career, and I hope someday I will be able to see you in person in the USA.

This was the first fingerstyle guitar song I ever recall hearing, and to this day still blows my mind
I showed this video to my guitar. My guitar left me and now I am single.
Your guitar shouldn´t be treated this way..
😭🤣

:)
This dude tuning his guitar while playing that is God level.
He’s not tuning it, he’s using it as a whammy bar. Incredible how he makes it look so easy. But the flow is so tight.

Why is this video 4yrs old and I am now discovering this amazing talent? I am in awe... I've shared and saved this. Just WOW!
The dedication this takes! He even has one single long fingernail on his hand to help him play! This is crazy dedication to master the guitar like this
There are gifted people in this world, where the guitar is not an instrument or a tool, but seems to be a part of the body. Unbelievable!
The guitar smoked a cigarette after this...
Piano Patrick this needs more fucking likes
Oh, my.......
Stolen comment
It's easy he's not holding any chords it called a CAPO
Lol
This dude is straight up playing four different parts at once
He is using loop pedal. Not that it's less of a performance but technically there are prerecorded loops (knocking and a melody) playing through the song making it sound like he's playing multiple parts same time.
@@TechTinkerWorks
In very few of his videos, yes..in live recording..and we can see the equipment..but not in this song..if you know how to play guitar and are at a certain level..
I you look carefully he does appear to be playing all of it, that's the point of his music
Its name is Fingerstyle.
@@TechTinkerWorks This guy either never or rarely uses loop pedals.
Guess I'm not the only one who got sent here from a youtube short😅 this is absolutely amazing! 👏
Literally changing the tuning of the guitar while playing ! This is some next level shit right here !
I have never seen anything like it. Amazing
Agree, never seen that before
He has banjo tuners on the guitar. They allow for him to do a detune and retune exactly how it was before
Literally soothed my soul
It is impressive, and very cool and expressive, although certainly not even close to a new thing. Banjo players have been doing it for around a century. It is done by using tuners that have the ability to have stops set at certain intervals, which literally stop the tuner from turning at two different points for accuracy and ease. The result is an added level of expression we commonly don't see on guitar, but it still is extremely common in the banjo world.
Killing it! Well done sir.
Candyrat Records
Thank you so much Rob!
It means a lot to hear from you!
Hi Alexandr, just discovered this video. My first thought was that you must be a Candyrat artist... and then I read Candyrat's comment. :) All the best for your future career, this is really unusual and beautiful.

And I thought Stevie Ray Vaughan was good

The little harmonics the Rhythm the overall Style and using the tuners in such a unique and marvelous way, it's all amazing. It honestly sounds like two guitars at some points.
For the non guitar players, no ofense. I know that the tunning change mid-song is outstanding and impressive, not shunning it is amazing for sure, but the absolutelly hard and impressive skill is the artificial harmonics he does so smoothly. These are some SERIOUSLY difficult to execute, any guitar player would agree with me. This guy is absolutely amazing!
Dude those artificial harmonics are insane! And he doesn't miss one!
kerplunkboy, I know what you are saying! I myself play guitar but I’m child’s play compared to this.
No that’s a definite skill. The guitar is not “out of tune.” He just fixes it so it makes the sound he wants!
I was lucky enough to see this guy live in a run down train station tonight, he was amazing!
I read this and thought you meant he actually lived in a run down train station

Tommy Emanuel might be the best ever right-handed fingerstyle guitarist, but you sure are the best left-handed one. Many thanks for this and huge congratulations.
I feel like even to hear you practice would be pure magic. Can't believe this was all in one take. It's like music runs through your veins. Phenomenal work 👏👏
Dear guitar.
Andrew Asonibare Brilliant comment! 😇
Dude you're funnier than shit 🤣
Да вы романтик, сэр☺️
🤣🤣
as a fellow guitarist, i find it emotional and not funny.
Dude I get a mixed feeling of inspiration and hopelessness
Yep. That's Careless Whisper
i get the same feeling but instead its because of the guitar player himself, he's so good which inspires me but also he's so good he makes me feel i will never be as good
@@AsSereneMonstersRest I think he meant the way he plays the guitar. Not the song.
Ha ha
For one thing, he uses banjo tuners which have stops in them. So it may be difficult but it isn't anywhere near impossible.
How come I've only just heard about this masterpiece when it's been around for 6 years ;-;

But how? There is a capo
@@vinnysurfo by twisting the tuning knobs whenever he plays a note, he twists it

@@vinnysurfo I can't give you a detailed explanation as to how it works, but before replying back to you, I tried it out and it worked.

@@vinnysurfo The capo will not hold the loosened or tightened string, it only presses it against the fret. It is obvious.
Even the guitar itself is unaware that it could produce such sounds. ❤❤❤
A (seemingly) easy song to play was turned into a very complicated masterpiece. I congratulate you on your skill.
That's one of the most insane guitar fingerstyle covers I've ever heard! Beyond perfection!
Now he just needs to cover ELP's cover of Aaron Copeland's "Fanfare for the Common Man". Shouldn't be difficult for him.

Not to take away from him, he is very very good, and I love this arrangement, he is not the first to play in this style. I would check out Edgar Cruz, Andy McKee and Justin King as well if you like his stuff. Though Alex is the first guitarist I've seen mess with the tuning while playing. Bravo there.

I feel so unsure
As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind the silver screen
And all its sad good-byes
I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you
Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
There's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find
I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
I should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you
Never without your love
Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd
Maybe it's better this way
We'd hurt each other with the things we'd want to say
We could have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But no one's gonna dance with me
Please stay
And I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

That you had to leave me alone
