I like the scene where the two Amy’s talk, because initially I didn’t get why old Amy was so callous toward herself and I forgot she would’ve had to be turned down by her bitter future self already and this just gives physicality to her resentment that she isn’t the one that will get picked and even if part of her is still capable of loving and being loved by Rory and the Doctor, she still had 36 years to come to terms with the fact that she’s enduring all this pain and loneliness only to die and have her entire existence invalidated. Which is very interesting.
