That's an awesome set up! We just had to move our whole colony inside cause we accidently got 8 of our rabbits pregnant but so far they are doing great. It's real cold out here to be having litter in February.

It it corrugated drain pipe. Landscaping or plumbing supply places, We found this one for free on Craigs list though.

We have, it's usually from a new mom. First time mommas will sometimes not make a nest or just leave their kits, also with the cold if there are too many for the Momma the runts might be too far from her and freeze. hope that helps.

Do you think if you had a larger breed (I have Flemish giant meat mixes - I’m not sure what else they have in them) 6” PVC would still work? I have one doe that’s the largest of all my rabbits and I don’t know she’s fit through a 6” hole - she’s not fat - just big boned! 🤣

There is hardware cloth under everything

@@JakeOfALL ahhh, I have a similar build. I dug 3 feet deep the laid down 1/4 hardware cloth at the base up to the walls of the hole then filled with dirt and grew some barely and wheat in it. Then build a similar run on top of it.
