I don’t know why original 2s are so slept on. Sneakerheads killed their reputation. Mike had some of his best games in 2s. Not to mention the Air Jordan Wings logo is clean as hell imo.
I’ll tell you why, Tinker Hatfield never designed the 1s or 2s; he designed the 3-14. Jordan really didn’t do much until ‘88 when he won the dunk contest in the AJ3, as far as memorable on court moments the 2s are not in the conversation.

for one i think they should def name this the “Air Jordan 2.3” just cuz. i also think this my favorite jordan fusion ever fr. its not all mushed together like the other retro fusion jordan puts out every month like the Six Rings or the true flights. it perfectly complements the great parts of both the AJ2 and 3. Jordan should also look in to the shared colorways they both have and put them out there
The box is also a hybrid! Jordan 2 wings and flip lid and 3 cement on bottom and jumpman branding on top... and this is the perfect blend what this shoe should have been.
I dont get why the 2 gets so much hate. They genuinely look like the best jordan to wear with a suit or smart casual garms. They actually look like fashion designer designed them. Like if you walked into D&G or something, they look like something I'd find in one of their retail stores. 😍 but I want a pair of these. 😎

there was an red j2 low last year that I wanted but definitely think these are better. Probably will end up picking these up if 1) I can find a retailer thats selling them 2) and preferably on sale ;-)
@@TunefullyOG the upper is very 80’s, but I think the 3’s upper is an upgraded version of the 2’s, when you combine the upper of the 2’s upper with the 3’s midsole, it’s pointless for Nike to make a low 3. That makes this fusion a success
