Just purchase these today! My very first pair of Jordan’s ever. I simply bought them because I thought they looked pretty cool! Had no idea about the whole backstory behind this shoe. They fit well and are very comfortable. Got them for $86 at my local Foot Locker in Pompano Beach, FL.

Brother, I just bought my first (non-gifted) pair of J’s, the Military Blue 4s just bc they were, to me, the coolest looking Jordan’s I could find on Stock-X for under $300. But after doing some research/watching some videos on them I was literally getting buyers regret bc I was getting the impression they’re super popular among the “real” sneaker heads. But someone just gifted me a pair of these bad boys and I’m feeling so much better about my collection now that I have a pair that the “real” sneaker heads (aka pretentious d-b*gs) look down on. Realistic no one should think they’re “cool” bc they spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes…I’m frankly a little embarrassed that I did but, it’ll be the last time. Especially if you can find dope looking J’s like these for under $100

The only TH-cam channel I watch for performance reviews and true! No sugar coating on brands just the real thing to us consumers thats why I love this channel and Chris. I hope you can visit Manila again soon.
If they made more of their retros and made sure they were more accessible for more consumers, they wouldn’t have to cheapen their brand with these weird, crappy mashups 🤷♂️
I agree. We haven't had a Cherry 12 since 2009 or Military Blue since 2012. Give us more of what we want and more accessible than crap like this.
Unfortunately that's not how marketing and product value works.
You limit the popular releases to keep them in demand. Which makes them hold their market value /price.
If retros were more accessible then the hype and demand wouldn't be there.

@@dazza818 I understand how supply and demand works. I’m saying that their math is wrong. Whatever value they think they’re getting by inflating hype will, on a long enough timeline, inevitably get cancelled out by them putting out less quality releases.

I just bought these and played in them. I really like them. These are the first shoes that didn’t make my feet hurt before breaking them in. Usually when I buy a new pair a balling shoes my feet hurt until I get them broken in. Not these. They look good and feel good on my feet.
I went and balled in the MA2s when they came out, and it was the most comfortable Jordan I've played in for years...

The six rings was doing the job of this shoe just fine. After seeing the video I do like the outsole more than I expected I would. I agree that a championship season needs to consider the whole season and not the final game of the finals. 13s should have been in there.
6 rings should be replaced by these. 6 rings are trash.

I've just bought myself a pair of these (white/black/red) and my fiancee did the same ("Raptors"). We honestly love 'em. We dig the design, and we find them really comfortable to wear.

Honestly I kinda like the look of them. More than the look of them is how they feel on foot. I’m at the age where that is the most important aspect to the shoes I wear.

I chose a pair of those because they look really cool I thought they looked much better than the Jordan MA2s so I chose them instead it's personal choice I also have Jordan 1 university blue retro highs, Nike PSNY triple white highs and Billie Eilish alpha's but just wanted another pair to add to my collection can't honestly find anything wrong with them I only wanted them for casual wear anyway I wasn't going to pay £250 for Jordan 4s red cement sneakers so glad I found those online 🥰🏴

I love how you stay true to the Jordan heritage and breakdown how its not a performance shoe( something important to keep in mind if you are out there playin). However, plenty of ppl rock Jordans purely for how they look and these actual look🔥🔥🔥 just copped a couple pairs of two trey.

I have a pair of these and I’ll tell you what, I absolutely love them! I DO think they should have incorporated some carbon fiber and more tech to the shoe, but for $89 these were a steal.

First pair of Jordan's I can fit my 4e feet in. Paid $57 for them. Nike outlet was dang near giving shoes away. My wife got a pair of Freak 4s for $25

I graduated high school in fresh pair of 6’s straight off the shelf in the early 90s. Though i have experienced the 7-14s, they just don’t compare to 1-6. Also I’m liking the 30s, wearing 36s now and excited for 37s. Got a pair of 32 banned’s on ice. Any of these mix-ups are bad, outside of the Flights.

I like these shoes, I don't know why but I just love the concord on them, I don't like the hard trasparent part and also obviously the missing middle support, but I'm going to buy these if when I try them on I feel comfortable.

I have the white ones with black sole (with a little red patch on the inside your area). It has red jumpman, red inside, and red lace holder. I absolutely love them

This year is my 31st Anniversary wearing Jordan shoes since 1991! The Air Jordan 11 back in those years, we're sold out. There wasn't any at a nearest Footlocker. By the way I am from Tijuana, Baja California, México and have to cross to San Diego. Anyway. Since I couldn't got an opportunity to wear the 11's. This is it. Finally got my chance after all these years! JUMPMAN TWO TREY!!!

Any suggestions for a newer hoop shoe for someone who loved the fit of the KD Trey VIII's? Wide foot. Jordan 36, KD 15 felt too narrow. Trae 1's though not narrow feeling...they felt too long.

These hybrid-type models are the easiest passes for me. The designs feel so forced and the tech usually suffers as well. It is what it is.

@@GodSavePluto correct. I know that for years Jordan Brand has tried to become its legit own "brand" like Nike. I feel like that's why they're whoring out the Jordan 1, amongst other models with every single colorway that you could dream up. Where they won't be able to match Nike, imo, is with these non-flagship models like team Jordans, hybrids and other models. Sometimes it just feels like they're being force fed to the masses and sitting on shelves.
The only hybrid I liked are probably the Jordan Legacy.

Well...some people will wear them causally and I'd assume they'd be beaters because they would be the wearer's only sneaker to wear. Local teens and such will be wearing them...not the worst shoe to wear to school.
All hybrid models need to be deconstructed immediately and used for materials on the OG ASAP.
Inside of the 7s ankle cage, are those ankle cups from the 5s? or 6s? I think they’re from the 5s since there’s no perforations like the 6s have, so not only is the 4 teased, i guess the 5 is as well? Great review as always Chris!

I got the black one with the red and purple, really like them. Not the best comfort but they look cool and they feel alright for a couple of hours.

It just ticks me off when they devote time and resources to things like this, but can't even give us the white/black team 1's or pull some other cool team jordans from the vault. They just keep dropping 6 rings, team elite 2 lows even dropped yet again, hell why not drop te2 mids I mean they have the tooling obviously if they can keep dropping the lows...
After 1 yr I can confirm the shoes are doing ok even if the plate isn't there, and I'm on the heavier side too (Used it as my beaters and walked on slopes and stuff and played ball with them a bit too)

These are good looking and they are my most comfortable shoes i had to get half size smaller because they run big the only thing I hate is hard to clean the Velcro and the tounge of the shoe can't whiten it.
Hopeful that Jordan Brand may listen to your reviews and make some improvement to their J's retro releases. The consumers like us can get a premium J's retros which is reasonable to the pricing they've got today.

The 6 Rings are definitely a superior hybrid.
Love the concept. Love the inside box art…definitely love that. However i agree…leaving out the 13 was egregious. They could’ve used the back part of. The outsole instead of the 14….or maybe the asymmetrical collar instead of the 7…and have the huarache fit to represent the 7 instead…or put the hologram cat eye somewhere? 🤷🏽♂️ That intro though….hilarious and awesome!! 😆💯❤️🍍

I think the best Jordan hybrid type shoe is the 60 plus Jordan’s. A mix of 3 shoes he wore when he scored 60+points. And it just really looked like a retro 5.

Today I tried on black ones with a blue sole and they look great. The leather on the tips is super soft. Unfortunately, my number wasn't there. That's why I chose black ones with a red sole, which are also great.
