This is fabulous!...Nice tribute to one if blues legends Ledbelly, Tom Jones was under rated. He really is a great vocalist, entertainer. I find him believeable.
Tom Jones is NOT underrated. In his heyday, he was on fire! Top of the list, and with soooo many hits in the 60's and 70's. This is really not representative of his great stuff, but it's a fun effort nevertheless.

In library of Congress I read they have a audio of a guy who talks about the real black Betty who was on a prison farm for women. I always thought it was about an gun called black Betty and her child, (a gun that didn’t shoot straight.) This was a term used by people in the confederate war and also the revolutionary war, some say it’s the whip that were used against the prisoners on the chain gang, some say it was the wagon. It’s interesting to look at the history and look up the research. I love Tom Jones, this was a cool video. Shows he stays in touch with current music and videos. Love the dancers in the video.

I call this old hospital I hate the old confederate memorial and they hate that, lol. It’s a horrible place and I nearly died there because they said it was good for emergencies, some of the drs are ok, but the place needs to be shut down.

i would not necessarily say all of the songs are improved by being re-done by Tom, but i would acknowledge that they are all treated with quality and grace.
