That's a beautiful river the Spey ! I did fish there every year before in the 80s. Whit the legend Arthur Ogelsby. He show me how to really speycast DT lines and 15-16' rods. I my self is in the same situation now when I fish salmon for more then 45 year. My joy is cast to a fish see or feel how it bite the fly. Then my fun part is over. And I try teaching casting as well and help out. I did work in Norway as guide and it been fun to have been able to do this life trip. Best regards to you and your business! i met her on the findhorn in jan of this year with ian gordon and tam brown while they were doing their casting lessons one sunday, she's a lovely lady and you can see how passionate she is about fishing
Ah,yes days on the Spey ,Findhorn would be a great chance to return after 35 years...and with a modern fly rod..... Safe wading and here,s to the take of a springer,...to a Cascade or a more traditional Munro Killer!!
