Nice one Jamie, enjoyed that as per usual! The look on that guy’s face behind you when you started to recline the seat 😂 Anyway, you need to get to Silver tier mate then you won’t have to pay for seats 👍
Another great one, Jamie! Interesting to note that the seats only a couple of rows in front of you were 26€, did you notice any difference in those seats that would have commanded the higher cost? Glad your first A380 experience was a good one!
Thanks Andy, not a single bit of difference between the seats, I assume it’s just the privilege of sitting further forwards. They were cheaper towards the rear, but I fancied the wing view to watch the flaps etc
@@JTsJourneys I miss the days when if you wanted a specific seat on a flight you just phoned the airline once you had your booking reference and they gave it to you for free! A few years ago BA charged me something like £212 to reserve an exit row seat on a flight to Las Vegas...in economy! 🙄😁 Thankfully I hadn't paid for the flight itself as I was going there for a work conference, but my company isn't generous enough to pay for seat selection too.
Another great Video👌🏻I managed to fly the A380 to Frankfurt last weekend, I absolutely loved it… However, I wasn’t expecting so many different noises, mechanically speaking. Especially when we were coming in to land, either just before or soon after the flaps were extended there were 2 loud sort of metallic bangs, is this normal fir an A380? I thought it might be the landing gear locking into position?
Glad you managed to get on one! I can only assume yes, as I noticed a few when I flew too, I quite like the mechanical noises! From where I was sitting I could hear the gear doors opening and closing, and then various pressure units augmenting the flaps.
@@JTsJourneys I was sitting in 29A (lower deck) and heard three different electronic motor sounds; one definitely the flaps, another high pitch from a small galley just behind, maybe air con? and another drone like sound, the bangs kinda worried me slightly which is rare for me 🤣

thanks Mark! I'd be happy to get to bronze as a start!
A rare opportunity to fly an A380 on such a short flight.
An opportunity too good to pass on

@@andybaker2456 same! it's ridiculous, especially on BA, but if people will pay they'll continue to charge it.

Can you still book these because I can only find it saying an A319?
Unfortunately not, this was a one off month in November 2021 to get crews used to flying them again after they were reactivated from long term storage
