This is great for all of those that waited. Those that didn’t wait I am sure are in a fit, even knowing this was coming down the pipeline.
Why would they? The avata 2 has the better transmission system
I get way better range with the a1
@seanmerritt1336 lie. There's no way you can get better range with the a1 when the a2 has a superior transmission system
@Msfs2024HD I 100% get way better range out in the open with my a1 just proved it yesterday on top of a 9,000 foot cliff overlooking the columbia river. The a1 got all the way down to a foot over the water and pretty far down river. The a2 wouldn't get down to the water without dropping signal. It's no where near as good as the a1

Good information Ken! I've been waiting to pull the trigger on the Avata2 because DJI always has a ton of updates right after releases.

G3 with 03 would complete this deal. Also, thank you for the break down.
DJI does not realize how many G3s they will sell if they would just release the official O3 support. I bought the Goggles 3 based on a bunch of print released to the dealers about O3 compatibility. When I pressed the dealer they stated DJI stated they would be O3 ready on release day. I sit and wait for DJI now!

This has me worried, I took a gamble buying this kit hoping that it would be unlocked for 03 units.
I love my A2, it's been awesome. But I would like to eventually move up to a true FPV without having to buy new hardware other than a Radiomaster.

Question, updated my avata 2, on May 29,and it's in 16 x 9 mode, and still don't have the 4k100fps only 4k60fps, need help, thanks

The goggles too will always need to require connection to a phone
I am having a very tricky time trying to update my Avata 2 to be compatible with the FPV RC 2, I have tried checking for firmware update multiple times in the dji fly app I've tried updating on my desktop and still no update of any sort, it's like the update doesn't exist for me it's wierd I gave to be missing something here cuz whattttt

So I'm confused I thought the avata 2 was O4 and the original avata was 03 so is it really o4 ?? Also do you have to rebind everything all the time ?? So I'm a way they got all their money quick selling it all together and now I find out I can fly it with the stuff I already have my fault for drinking the Kool aid in gulps don't get me wrong love DJI products but I think this was a sly move any I love ripping with it thanks for your vids very help gonna order some of the riders ✌️🤙🤙🤟

Probably semi planned by the good ole propriety king DJI.. 1. Slowed sales motivated the upgrade, 2. It was probably planned to grab those first few months of whole package sales.. They know their Occusync software inside and out and how to add it and make it work in virtually all of their products

The RC doesn’t really matter. It’s just making sure it’s updated but yes, that is a possibility to use them in conjunction with one another.

Now that it's compatible with the Goggles 2, does that mean the goggles have to be hooked up to the phone to be remote id compliant like it was in the original Avata?
I'll be getting this soon, I love the original one and this version has some excellent updates.
Here’s the dirty secret about that if you’re anywhere near a airport you’ll always need to connect your phone

@@hchattaway Yes. If you are in an Authorization zone you will have to first connect your phone to the goggles. After it registers whatever it needs (which I don't understand) then you can disconnect it. Even if you have a long term DJI permission for an area, each time you want to fly there you have to start with your goggles connected.
I don't know if I'm happy about this or mad because I assumed they would never update to allow the googles 2 so I just bought the whole package instead of waiting for an update like this.
What I really want is Goggles 3 and controller 3 compatibility with O3 air unit.
My Avata2 shows no update. Maybe in time....

Only update i need is to be able to use my 03 units on my new goggles if i can use 03 then avata 2 was worth it if i cant use 03 this will be my last dji sysyem 03 support better come soon its almost hard core flying time
Don't you already have goggles to use with your O3 Air Units? Why would anyone want to use the Goggles 3 with O3 Air Units? There is no real advantage to it. Just use the goggles you already have.
Can someone please help me as my update is not appearing either on the DJI Fly app when I have everything connected including the goggles and controller. And it’s also not appearing in DJI assistant too. I live in Australia. Not sure if that makes difference. I also did use a VPN and it still did not work. can someone help please?

Bro there is a R2 button needed to double tap to activate Manual Mode rotors. I spend like 30 minutes idling on ground in Manual Mode trying to take off from it ahhaahhahahaha

Update is useless because you cannot use the Goggles 3 with the Motion 2 or DJI FPV 2 unless you use them with the Integra Goggles or Goggles 2. Takes the Goggles 3 out the picture except with the MC 3 and FPV 3 controllers. Let the Goggles 3 work with the OC 3 (DJI FPV 2) - Better Goggles in the 3 and they will sell more th FPV OC3 Builders! Bad Form DJI...

@@OriginaldoBo Business 101.... They have sold a gazillion Avata 2 Combos since April 11th... I was one one the purchases... Now Make the better Goggles compatible with the OC3 units so the true FPV Builders using the OC3 units in their quads will upgrade to those goggles... That's a business 101 add-on purchase... No brainer!
