@@Nebula_Ultradid you watch Imola? This race had more overtakes in same classes than the entire f1 calendar thus far in 2024. Face it, WEC, IMSA, motoGP and Indycar are all churning out much more exciting motorsport than F1’s snoozefest.
Maybe, it seems Cadillac is more interested in having success in IMSA. My guess is they want to increase their domestic appeal, but having Jota run some customer Cadillacs would definitely be a treat though, Jota is a great organization.
Cadillac does not really care about WEC, but they want to race at Le Mans. And for that they need to have a full season entry in WEC. Next year they probably need 2 cars, if the proposed rule change is accepted. So it would make sense to team up with Jota, let them do the full season, and whatever team runs the factory Caddies in IMSA can join with a 3rd and 4th car for Le Mans.
