Too many cities around the United States have fallen short of their responsibility to the various infrastructures within their own communities. They don’t mow, they don’t clean, they don’t repair roads, waterlines, drainage systems, trees that threaten power services, they don’t upgrade street signs, lights, traffic signals… But, our property taxes sure go up every year. 😢
All they do is sit in their office and stroll the internet 🛜 all dam day. China 🇨🇳 built the IPhones 📱 but their kids are not allowed to use them. Hmm 🧐
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri the solution is getting involved with your community, as you are doing. There are some who could possibly run to be elected to their City or Village Boards, and further be able to enact change. I know in my Village it seemed our streets were never maintained, parks on our side of town were never cleaned or mowed, street lights that had gone out were never repaired, and we complained pointlessly about it. But you'd better believe the other side of town, where the Village President lived, was always spotlessly maintained. But a few years ago some neighbors from our side of town ran for election and became Board Members. Now the parks are mowed, the streets are cleaned, the sidewalks get repaired. It's a safer neighborhood to live in than it was 30 years ago, because people got involved.
That was great but the other side where the crosswalk is is also overgrown. It was awesome that the business owner is also into keeping it clear as well!
Maybe I should go back sometime in the next few weeks and tackle the other side of the crosswalk? What do you think???? I think it ended up going well for both of us. A little tag team to keep the streets clean…or neighborhoods clean. 😎
