The Circus parade in Milwaukee was really cool to see. Growing up there was a distinction between the Red and Blue units.
We lived in San Diego. Mom was from Wisconsin. One of the family was a Clown.
And taught at Clown College.
I wish I had asked more of the story before my parents passed.
The "In Storm and Sunshine" march is so great.
One of my favorites.
@@thomasbuttita732 me too
"Come one! Come all! Blow a gasket...." - Retired trombone player.
I probably account for like 70 percent of the views on this from listening to it over and over while studying for school. lol
My other favorite circus music is Barnum and bailey's favorite it sound so wonderful and magical to i really like the picture as well
I love these marches. All feature low brass esp trombones. And baritone and I play both. Awesome audio !
These are great marches! They give all the musicians - brass, woodwind and percussion - a chance to show their virtuosity. The first three on this video are Henry Fillmore marches.
Melody Shop is King
Love these!! All feature low brass. It’s a workout !!
Excellent selection, well-balanced in presentation. Daumen Hoch!
Moritz Zimmer agreed, thanks for compiling Eric!
This compilation introduced me to so many good new marches, thanks!
A great selection. Good performances. Some of my favorites and a few new ones (for me). Thanks much!
absolutely love these screamers! thanks so much for the upload!
My Dad related a sweet memory to me the year I cared for him. My first time at Ringling Brothers I was NOT a fan. At first I turned my face away and buried it in Dad's chest. I was 3.
I eventually got comfortable.
Now I love piccolo and Screamers.
Thank you for posting this. As one who spent 3 years on the road with a circus back in my youth, this collection brings back many memories. Who was the band or bands performing these tunes?
As a circus band veteran I would have included Billboard and Barnum & Bailey's Favorite. I have a copy of Melody Shop and it's part of my warm-up routine.
A few of these are performed by the Eastman wind ensemble directed by frederick Fennell
My favorite circus music is circus bee I really like the sound of circus bee and i like the picture of circus bee as well it look fun enjoyable excitement wonderful spectacular magical
love troopers tribunal! :o)
The father of my bandmate played drums for many a screamer at circuses.
I would have needed 11 to include The Big Cage by Karl King. One of the shortest marches, but one of the greatest.
Grand Prize Game from WGN-TV’s Bozo Show
I play trombone...never circus marches...but listening to these...Geez!
As a euphonium player melody shop has to be my favorite
Karl King writes the greatest circus marches and overtures
I love this music. But why does all Circus music sound like German marches? I know the famous "Enterance of the Gladiators" was written by an Austrian.
When you get rejected from art class
9:47 Grand March from Bob Bell’s Final Episode of The Bozo Show
have you heard of trombone king?
Yes one of em sounds like it !! 😂
why is it called screamer? i see nothing in the video lol
They are meant to be played balls to the wall loud and fast (except the quiet sections) and show off loud virtuosic playing.
Grand March from WGN-TV’s Bozo’s Circus
0:07 Grand March from The All New Bozo Show
I could almost add all King marches cuz most of them sound exactly the same
today bands forget these great american musid and they all play garbage,,,game themes,,john williams crap etc ad nauseum
I know it's _your_ Top 10....but....what about _Entry of the Gladiators_ and what about _Purple Carnival_ ?!?
