As someone who really likes twenty one pilots and is trying to get into Imagine Dragons, are there any songs or albums in particular by Imagine Dragons that stand out as some of their best? I really want to go through their entire discography and I was hoping a fan of their stuff can point me in the right direction. Cheers!

I got to see them live a couple summers ago....Guess who opened for them that day? Our favorite young prodigy Grace Vanderwaal....best concert ever saw start to finish...Grace was amazing and ID was incredible.

I've told my daughter this is her theme song. It reminds me of her everytime I hear it. Just because her classmates might not see it and bully her at school, she knows she's gonna be something big someday & I know it too 😉
When she was little, her self-given super hero name was Lightning Girl. Now she has a TH-cam channel where she goes by Nikky Lightning and has over 20k subscribers and she's only 12! I can't wait until she finds her thunder, to see what she can accomplish next.
Honestly this is one of their weaker songs, definitely check out more I love imagine dragons especially some of the deep cuts. I'd suggest songs like "hear me" "Next to me" "Zero" And "machine"

@@niftylal. the chorus repeats too much for my liking is all, the verse lyrics are great though. Weaker ≠ bad it's just the rest of their music seems to be a step up to me except their really old stuff like before the hell and silence EP

@@thefablesphere yes, but she said she wrote a lot of music but threw it all out, too much outside influences in her work. I think not much later she wrote Stray which was about that.
My daughter and I went to see ID and Grace , Daughter ID fan , Dad Grace Fan. I did definitely enjoyed both shows .

Great reaction. ID are Big stage performers - great sound and lyrics. Hey Fabs, Grace Vanderwaal opened for IDs during their Evolve tour in 2018 (40 concerts as a young 14 year old - crazy). I agree Believe and Born To Be Yours are great ID hits. Cheers from Downunder.

@@thefablesphere The Albums in order are Transmissions, Vessels, Vessels 2.0 which has acoustic versions and a nod to Type O-Negative, then Divisions. I think Transmissions starts off with a little message type track that you can include or skip. I honestly can say I have all of their songs on my playlist, including live acoustic versions that I downloaded off of TH-cam that aren't on their albums

The Doors with Scott Stapp - Riders of the Storm
I saw two concerts when Grace Vanderwaal was opening for them. However, I was there only to see Grace so after Grace finished we (incl daughters) went to the farthest point of the lawn area and gave our 8th row seats to a father and young daughter and later concert went to back of lawn area and gave our 4 seats (12th row) to a mother with 3 young daughters. Grace was phenomenal. Sorry Imagine Dragon fans!

Yo bruv. Been watching ur reactions for a long while now, mostly cuz of grace and TOP and NF. I appreciate that you dive deep into dissecting the music that moves you. I’m a music junkie too, everything from old school rap to metal to edm to swing to blues. There’s a lot of mediocre music out there, but the stuff that’s really good, regardless of genre, is truly what makes your molecules move. In the last couple years I’ve been able to see TOP (make it a priority on your bucket list!), and saw Grace open for Imagine Dragons. One of the best shows I’ve seen. Please by all means do some more dragons! Another band that will take you down a very deep and profound rabbit hole is TOOL. Please, give them a try! A gentle introduction would be Parabol/Parabola from the Lateralus album. Thanks for sharing with us!

I've heard maybe 3 or 4 of their songs, but I feel pretty 'meh' about them. For me I think their sound is kind of teetering on the edge of unique and a large amount of commercial pop radio. Which may be kind of funny sounding from someone who *loved* a lot of the pop music of my time...the 80's. I am also quite a different person than I was up until 18 or 19.

So glad you liked this, because I like it, but this song gets so much hate! I don't get it-- I grant that the "kiss my ass, I made it" lyrics aren't profound, but they're not offensive, and the music is catchy as hell. I assume maybe because it got overplayed?
For some people if it is not profound it's not worthy of their ears.
