That’s what you called them? Love it
I just turned 58 and some of the best music ever was from the late 60s through the 80s with a few early 90s songs. So many of these songs bring back memories of various times in my life. The song HEAVEN by Bryan Adams was my ex-girlfriend and my song. We certainly both moved on with our lives but that song will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm a brand new subscriber and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you.
You are spot on with the music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, into the 90s.... Most of the music of the past 20 years has been formula-forgettable! I have friends who do mostly covers, and you would know them!
Excellent job VERDY. I was impressed with your knowledge of 80’s pop hits. As you know many more songs and genres from that era. So yes do a 60’s, 70’s, or any other decade you wish to review and you and your fans will enjoy it! Merci beaucoup!
Tbf 83-84 was a hell of a time. To me it had the most bangers out of any of the other years with the songs that were in this video. 80’s in general had many bangers but 83-84 especially. But yea if that’s the case Jump probably should’ve been the most been the most popular for either February or March. Considering girls just want to have fun is March I would say it should be in February and replace Karma Chameleon cause girls just want to have fun is just too iconic. Then again it was technically made before the 80’s and wasn’t written by Lauper (but idk if we would count that).
Keep it up Verdy and congratulations on the 30 thousand subscribers 🥳 Listening to music with you makes a long day happy and seeing you smile 5:24 even more. 😉 I grew up in the 80s and the truth is that it is also a decade full of "One Hit Wonders", with performers who had no major significance over time, except for some lucky song. A video with music from the 70s would be just as fun... thanks for the reaction.
Your knowledge and depth is outstanding!!!! Would love to see/hear you do a 60's and 70's rendition, respectively. But, I think your going to need about 15 minutes more, for each of those decades 😮. Keep up the great work Verdy! You have so earned your "favorite" status.

Verdy you did quite well. This was the decade I grew up on music. I graduated highschool in 83 and college in 87. This was basically Billboard #1 lots of pop music not much in the way of bands I listened to like U2, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M Van Halen and Guns &Roses just to name a few. Verdy you're right about music of today having staying power 30 years from now. The only band of this century I probably still be listening to in the future is Green Day and most of their best stuff is from the 90's. Still I love your channel and how you react to entire albums

16:39 - I was 5 years old at the time and Lambada is the earliest memory i have of a Hit Song. I did not know this was a global hit up until now, but in Brazil it was all over the place :)
I was born in the 60s. I was a child in the 70s, when I was introduced to rock music by my older sisters. The I was High School and College in the 80s! I was more of a hard rocker and Hair Metal guy, but 80s music was just an explosion of new sound in every direction. The list of great bands is endless in the 80s. I feel bad for kids now. It was a great time be alive, just for the music!! Oh, and no cell phones, so you could get away with anything. hahaha
When u said "timeless" that was perfect: 60s Thru 80s music demanded far more skill re playing instruments, writing, fashion, the videos and overall level of quality. Old world standards that were abandoned in the pukey 90s w the advent of technology.
Yes, that was fun. And impressive. I've been listening to almost all those song for decades, but you seem to know the lyrics better than I do 😀I'd love to see you react on the songs of the 70's as well.

You did awesome! When I first started the video I was like, she isn't going to know most of these songs. But you surprised me! And you are absolutely right, growing up during this time was awesome! I have to admit, there were a few songs I didn't remember myself but only like 4-5 all the rest bring back many memories. As far as the modern music goes, we won't know it's impact on us for many years into the future. These song here have had time to create tons of memories over the decades. The newer songs just have to have time to do the same before we start to feel nostalgia for them. Give it time, it'll happen. Great video and Thanks!

Like how you was singing along with a ‘Lil Wooo here a lil Woa there..lol thank you VERDY for taking us down memory lane I certainly had fun listening to songs I had long forgotten. Bangers? That’s what you called them? Love it
There are so many of these I heard from movies and shows as a kid. I was born in the 90s. Nothing beats 80s music
Gotta love the 80s music... right before the slow decay set in.
Your 'slow decay' began with the commercial eighties...
Yes, it started in the early 90's and it's been in decline ever since. Every year is worse for music, pop culture, everything.
I didn’t realize until watching this video how many artists are gone now. Makes a lot of the songs bittersweet.
OMG you are precious...just subscribed
Such a great Video 🎉
MTV became popular in the early '80s ...
The timing was perfect ‼️
Thank You for the Entertainment ...
Amusant! Je n'entends ces chansons souvent, de bons souvenirs, merci!
Even my Kids, 10/14 love the 80's and Abba, when we have a BBQ or garden Party we only put 80's on. Great to sing along and just having a great time.
I was a DJ in the late 80's and early 90's, this was a trip down memory lane. Thank you.
Crazy how many of these are British artists/writers
Rock on girl . I send you so much love! In this moment i also listen the 80's and it's 1:43h in the morning 😅 🎹🎷🎸🥁
Van Halen’s “Jump” was released in Dec. 83 and eventually made it to and stayed No. 1 for 5 weeks, Feb. 19 thru March 25 🤔…..
That took me back - thank you. Lots of memories flooded back
Keep it up Verdy and congratulations on the 30 thousand subscribers 🥳
Listening to music with you makes a long day happy and seeing you smile 5:24 even more. 😉
I grew up in the 80s and the truth is that it is also a decade full of "One Hit Wonders", with performers who had no major significance over time, except for some lucky song.
A video with music from the 70s would be just as fun... thanks for the reaction.
Every single song is a memory. Thanks for this.
Your knowledge and depth is outstanding!!!! Would love to see/hear you do a 60's and 70's rendition, respectively. But, I think your going to need about 15 minutes more, for each of those decades 😮. Keep up the great work Verdy! You have so earned your "favorite" status.
you knew a LOT of those, I was surprised. Those songs passing quick made me remember the months & years in the 80s. Music played a big part of it for me
"Everybody Wants To Rule The World" was from early `84!!
As someone who turned 11 in Dec '79, the 80's were the years when I really got into music, and formed my tastes. I am so impressed with how many of there you knew, especially the early 80's tracks. Just goes to show how timeless some of these are.
How is that a girl your age knows al this music? Is fantastic!
Thank you for bringing my youth back to me! For me the 70s and 80s are the best years of music!
How about them 80's! Radio Pop/? hits on repeat like all decades. So many great Rock/HardRock songs left out of the mix.
👉Shame 👈
Still enjoy your channel Thanks for sharing your time. 🤘💪
you passed with flying colors! that j lo and pitbull call was epic.
I was born in 1962, every song on this brings many feelings, emotions and memories. I went though a lot in my 20`s, music was always there for an escape from the madness. ROCK ON!
Great video 👍 Nice compilation of music like the face you pull when you come across a song that you don't like or not getting is priceless.
Verdy you did quite well. This was the decade I grew up on music. I graduated highschool in 83 and college in 87. This was basically Billboard #1 lots of pop music not much in the way of bands I listened to like U2, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M
Van Halen and Guns &Roses just to name a few. Verdy you're right about music of today having staying power 30 years from now. The only band of this century I probably still be listening to in the future is Green Day and most of their best stuff is from the 90's. Still I love your channel and how you react to entire albums
I couldn't have said it better myself Paul. 🙂
Do you know??...it's really relaxing to observe your reactions for these fantastic songs....you have a fantastic timid force inside that makes me feel good while listening to them....
Glad the algorithm recommended this to me. Love this video, the songs, and your vibe!
Wow... "Time After Time" popped up and *instant* gooseflesh. Loads of memories attached to that one...
Thanks for the walk down memory lane. San Diego sends love ❤️
Very impressive! Your knowledge is amazing.
You were singing along with most! ❤️
Thanks for reacting to the greatest hits from a time we lost when music was so amazing
I'm impressed. You really know 80's music 🙌
As you mention. The 60's and 70's are also awesome.
But we must not forget, there're some serious bangers in the 90's too. 🙂
You are so fortunate...
You have a universe of fabulous songs to go to and you know so many of them...
I am SO impressed with your knowledge of this music.
Cindy Lauper...Time After Time...Breaks my heart.
Just a stupid romantic...
I am 53 yo, i remember all those music. It is really great that you joy same music than i, when i was same age than you.
Great reaction! The sheer amount of smash hits back then is just mind-boggling. As an 80s child(born 76) I remember almost all of them, but I guess you are a lot younger so it's impressive how many songs you recognized!
16:39 - I was 5 years old at the time and Lambada is the earliest memory i have of a Hit Song.
I did not know this was a global hit up until now, but in Brazil it was all over the place :)
Cudos for knowing so many of them. 👏👏👏
I absolutely adored this reaction. And we have the same favorite Madonna song.
Never change love!
CHEERS!
Blast from my past, thanks. Good on you for knowing so many older songs. The 80's were so good for many genres of music - gotta love the 80's!
I just loved the 80s Specially George Michael❤
Seeing you sing so many of the songs from my childhood is pretty awesome from a young woman your age. 🤙🏻
I was 7 in 1980. We had amazing music and amazing tv and amazing video games and amazing movies and amazing everything.
Oh man. Enya's Orinoco Flow is such an amazing chill song. It's like floating.
She probably recognized it because it has been used a lot in movies & things.
This is my youth. Seeing a kid your age singing along to so many of these makes me glad. You have excellent taste!
No doubt at all. The 70’s and 80’s were the best music decades.
Oh, and no cell phones, so you could get away with anything. hahaha
The 80’s were a great time to be alive. I remember all these songs, some great memories.
80's was an EXPLOSION of musical groups/songs. Thanks for your reaction to what I feel , was an incredible decade of music.
I graduated from high school in 1984 and I had a blast the whole time. The 80's was such a fun decade!
I grew up in the '80s and can confirm the music was pretty epic.
Our clothes, not so much lol.
I concur, music, fashion, film, everything was soooooo much better back in the day, on such a nostalgia trip that was, thank you 💔
@@citisoccer In a way it's like we could be extravagant, like an artist on stage, couldn't we? lol
When u said "timeless" that was perfect: 60s Thru 80s music demanded far more skill re playing instruments, writing, fashion, the videos and overall level of quality. Old world standards that were abandoned in the pukey 90s w the advent of technology.
I think the 80s fashion was awesome! ✨
Yes, that was fun. And impressive. I've been listening to almost all those song for decades, but you seem to know the lyrics better than I do 😀I'd love to see you react on the songs of the 70's as well.
You need to check out "Petshop Boys"! I noticed you didn't recognise their stuff? You won't be disappointed if you love the 80s! X(Another band missing :Depeche Mode)
I was 11 years old thru 21 in the 80's great times, Thanks for posting this
Loved this! Brought me back in time to when I was a kid!
90s were great too
Absolutely impressive that you know so many 40 year old songs! 😎😎
So much fantastic music in the 80's
Brings back many memories as an 80's kid.
Great idea for a video! I was between the ages of 15-25 in the eighties and I am genuinely impressed with your knowledge of the songs that meant so much to me!
Dude, this is fantastic. I love how much you love Abba. And you just completely rock this. Granted, I am only 2:46 in, but holy moly. I love that you love music so much. Thanks for doing that.
that was fun, yes the 60's n 70's..
1983 had the best songs ever
You seem so young, but so knowledgeable on your 80s music! We’ll done 👏
Nice. Well done reaction! Thanks from Sweden.
Living in the 70's and 80's was a great time, and I am greatful that so many young people discovering the period. Seeing those bands live was wonderful. I saw Modern English last November and I just bought tickets to Depeche Mode. So, the good times are still rolling.
