    I'm no treally a Judo expert, but I was trained in Combat Judo by A.J. Advincula and one of his students, and I also used to spar against a guy who was both a second kyu in karate and a 2nd degree brown belt in Judo too.
    I would say the most important think in Judo is maintaining balance and stance.

    Okay, this just blew my mind and its even more mind blowing how it also translates to striking. I'm going to start practicing with this in mind and also see if somehow it applies to BJJ as well. Great video, thanks!!

      It’s very similar in BJJ, except lots of people stand Square anyway also in PJ, you’ll find that more people stand left-handed. With their left foot forward, because they have done some striking or wrestling which have different stances. All the concepts still work there. Tho

      If you're good at both Judo and Striking, you should be able to beat a BJJ black belt by internationall MMA rules. BJJ specialists never practice striking nor actual judo throws, so if you actually can do both Judo and throw a 1000 pound okinawan quaality punch, you should be able to beat them in a fight.
